Complimentary straight razor neck clean up with every service. Upon request, you can get free shoeshines, hot towel, massage & shampoo. Usually you'll find a stocked fridge with juice, soda and even beer, along with snacks & candy, all free. Sal truly puts his customers first.

Hallelujah! Finally found a barber worth going to!This is a review of my visit 10-26-2018 at 3:20 pm.I've been on a decade long quest to find a barbershop local to me that would #1. be open "normal" hours, #2. Be in business for a while, #3. Actually know how to do a "Fade" correctly. I've had to resort to "salons" that don't always get it right.If you're looking for that "old school" barbershop experience that you had when you were a kid, this is the place. The potential for a long wait time is there. But the lively banter and community feel are worth it. Hanging out with the crew and colorful cast of characters is quite entertaining. I was there for just about an hour, but (to those complaining about wait times), it's a barbershop and not a salon. You go, you sign in, and you wait for your barber. It's a community experience. It's not something you try to rush.It's not just entertaining, however. These guys, they know how to cut hair. Very few people know how to do a "skin fade" correctly, and my barber, Phil, even asked if I wanted "stubble" or "down to the skin". The fade was blended perfectly and he kept the lines and corners square.I asked him to clean up my eyebrows and he offered a suggestion enhance a scar that I have above my eyebrow. It was very artistic.I believe I have found my new home for my hair care needs.read more

This is the absolute best barber shop that I have ever used. For years I was cheap and had my wife just buzz cut my hair when it needed cut. When I went to Sal's barbershop the professionalism, friendliness, and excellent work made me want to go back. I now only go to Sal's for my barbershop. I am sad to be moving to Ohio soon. I may have to make trips back just for a haircut. They are well worth it.read more

Great haircut, great price and best of all great atmosphere. I am from out of town and I needed to get cleaned up and I am glad I chose this place. The Interaction between the barbers and their clients and the way everyone is with each other was like any other shops I've been too. What can I say, accidentally walked in during a snowstorm while working with my crew in the shopping center, and wow, it was like stepping into Sal's original shop on a busy day ! I started getting really good fades from a barber called Sharp in Pottstown. I then switch to a great place called Reeds. I now have switched to Sals because it's not only closer to me but I get the same quality cuts. They took time to add fiber, provided coffee in the mornings and a beer at night. Sal and his staff are AMAZING! Sal is the first person that was successfully able to cut my son's hair who has autism and sensory processing disorder. We used to have to cut his hair little by little in his sleep, that is how scared he was. But ever since he met his friend for life, Sal, his life has changed! Never had a issue with ths Barber. I don't care how long i wait!! I have called in and put on the list and came in when to be told to. I even went to eat on one occasion .Its worth the wait !! My son gets cut by Jut and he takes the time to make sure my son's hair is on point every time!!! These guys have never once said any profanities and if they by accident do they apologize .They are all respectful to all clients. I wouldn't go anywhere else . All the barbers are very professional and take time for each clients cuts. That's why you have a wait time.read more

Sal's makes you feel at home when you walk in the door and they really take the time and ask the right questions to give you the style and look you are looking for. Samantha cut my hair, she did a fantastic fade and shave and I've never been happier with my haircut. I found a place and a barber I will use for life. Although it is a couple days late, I felt the need to leave a review still after the countless pleasurable experiences I've had at this barbershop. For close to a year now I've been going to Sal's and getting cut by Russo, and not once have I left without loving the haircut I just received and a smile on my face. Not only that, the staff is friendly and inviting, happy to help and serve the customer in any and every way. If the wait was any longer than 5 minutes, they always offered me a beverage or snack free of charge; it truly shows how much you value our customers and there time. I had even come in close to closing one time, and Russo had went the extra mile to assure me it was no trouble, and he would still fit me in without making me feel like a burden. I will continue to go here for many years to come, and happily point anyone I know in search of a quality cut, in this Shop's direction! I'm thankful for the opportunity to review this place, and would happily do it again! You all are clearly doing things right!read more

You certainly get a better cut than your usual chain hair cut, but you pay the price in dollars and time. $20-$25 for a cut and it feels like a minimum of 20 minutes in the chair. No way to make a reservation that I know of. So expect to sign in and wait or sign in and go run some errands.read more

Very friendly from the moment we walk in we were greeted by Justin and Russo. Full service Barbershop with the experience to give a shave. Being a bald man, I think I now have a place to go. For the adventurous like my son they offer cool hair designs or what my kid calls hair tattoos. They offer Free shoeshine for the business person going to work. Hot towel, massage and beer for those looking to relax and for those still with a head of hair, shampoo service before you get that sick cut.There are discounts for Seniors and the Military and a Student cut what I consider the kids cut but this owner doesn't stop there. Sal and his staff are very active in charities form the display on the wall. Giving to hurricane relief funds in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Havery. Also, he supports the CSDEF Education Foundation.The atmosphere is welcoming and filled with Philly sports icons on the walls. Justin seems to and fun guy and we have a lot in comon coming from town. Justin was able to correct a very recent bad haircut for my boy. The kid looks good again and his mon loved it. Sal even though we haven't met yet seems to be a gentleman, charitable and a person of good character.This will be where my son and I go for now on.read more

The ONLY good thing about Covid-19 is that there is finally appointments at Sal’s!!! With my professional work schedule it was nearly impossible to plan a cut. I had to take a day off from work or dedicate the majority of a weekend day to get a cut. With appointments the wait times have been slashed and I can check in to make sure my barbers in the shop that day. I’m hoping Sal keeps a form of appointments around I can go back to weekly visits like at my old shop instead of whenever my hair gets unbearable.read more

We have been going to Talon for awhile now and my boys LOVE him! He is so talented and always professional. He takes his time and is super sweet with both of my sons. I went to Sals after getting a terrible haircut at a chain hair cutters. (Great Clips) They messed up the haircut pretty bad. I called Sals, they fit me in quick and Jontae cleaned me up and fixed my bad hair cut. Took the time to make it right and I left with a great looking cut. Vibe and energy in there from the guys was great. Definitely will be going back. You can tell those guys know what they’re doing, enjoy doing it, and like to shoot the breeze with everyone there. This is my sons 2nd time here and my 1st! I absolutely love this place! Everyone was super friendly the entire time! The Gentleman that cut my sons hair made absolutely certain my son and I were happy with the cut, which we were! One of the Gentleman there made sure to let us know that they had snacks and refreshments that we were welcome to for free! I was pleasantly surprised by this and there was a seriously good selection!! The pricing is more than fair and the establishment worked together to make sure I was comfortable while I waited! I don’t know if it was just my experience but be prepared to wait. Our wait was approximately 20 minutes past the scheduled start time.The cut is superb which is exactly why I am giving this place 5 stars and I will bring a book next time. I scheduled a fade and cut for my son which took about 45 minutes so my entire time in the shop was just over an hour. It was worth it!The staff all greeted us while we were waiting and they were checking out their finished clients.The vibe in the shop was perfect for my preteen who loves good music and cool dudes. I can’t remember being this wowed by a business. I picked my dad up at his assisted care community to spend Fathers Day with us and I noticed he was in need of a good haircut and shave. Not knowing any local barbershops, I simply Googled the closest one. I was looking for a traditional barber and Sal sounded like a nice old Italian one. I called and was told they could fit me in in 15 minutes. From the outside, the shop looked pretty traditional. But the inside told a different story. Very young barbers, very urban vibe. A very nice man offered to take on my 94 year old father. Marquis gave him the best haircut he has had in 15 months. Trimmed everything! Beard, nose hairs, eyebrows! You could tell he took pride in his skills. And he was so patient and kind. And afterwards as Dad tried to pay, he simply smiled warmly, and said Happy Fathers Day! The shop is clean and Marquis was very professional. If you use this shop, or live in the Limerick Royersford area, or know someone who works there, please give them your business and my heartfelt thanks. Great experience and we’ll be back.read more

When I started going to Sals the Barbers were great. All those barbers are gone Promoted to there own shop and it’s all newbies now, still better then Supercuts by alittle. Also prices were raised again to $30 for a KIDS haircut, i understand with everything but I can’t. They will be going elsewhere now.read more

**BEST BARBERSHOP**I started by bringing my son here. He loves getting his haircut here. Have not had a bad experience one time. Then I decided I was going to grow my beard out. Not a great experience but not bad. Had an appointment and still had to wait for almost 40min to be seen, kinda defeats the point of a appointment if you ask me. Prices are ok wish the website options were laid out better to select what you want. As in a ala cart section of what you want is not in a "standard package" what would be helpful as I keep my head bald and have a long beard so chosing a bald head shave and beard cut/shape up is not a option. I am normally a customer at the Phoenixville location, but was near the Royersford location last night. I stopped by the shop last night around 6pm, and was not sure if I could get an appointment. Considering it was close to closing time, he made a call home and made the haircut happen. The barber Marquis was more than happy to accommodate me. He not only fixed a haircut, that I received two days prior that was not of quality, but he did it professionally. His professionalism and skills alone, set him apart form other local barbers, Marquis is an amazing barber. I only get my son and I haircuts at Sal's. New to this barber shop, saw good reviews and had high expectations. Got a fade that the barber spent 17 minutes on....I timed it, in a 45 minute appointment. Haircut was alright, but for $40 plus tip expected more. Additionally, no foot rest on the chair and no straight razor finish. Super cuts or great clips are contenders here.read more

Kevin at Sal’s in Royersford has been cutting my son’s hair (age 4) for about two years. He is so patient with him and always makes him feel like a big kid. Kevin is great at listening and interpreting my hairstyle ideas and the cut always turns out perfect. My son is always excited to go see Kevin every few weeks and we would highly recommend him.read more

This is the best haircut I think I ever had. I went In early and samaj took care of me. He did a amazing job, and since I always went to great clips or a 4 star barber shop I was shocked to see how good my hair looked after because it was a big change for me. Bobby did a great job on my haircut today, I was in the Marine Corps for 9 years and I had to get a fade every sunday. So i'm familiar with a great fade that keeps your appearence professional and keeps you feeling confident. I haven't had a good fade since I left North Carolina, but that changed today. I was skeptical about cutting the length of my hair, but at the end he was right. Trust your barber and they will take care of you. The only thing that could have made the whole experiance better is a BRISK ice tea.read more

We love all the barbers…they’re all friendly & welcoming!! We have used a few different barbers, each one just as good as the next. But, past few times we booked with TALON & we are SOOOOO HAPPY with him…totally love the dude!! He makes us feel like we are a part of his family & talks with us like he’s known us his whole life! As far as Talon’s barbering skills….freaking TOP-NOTCH & really incredible!! We have witnessed his barbering skills growth over time & he is just always improving & striving for perfection every time, so glad that he is our barber now!! I could go on & on honestly, so, I will just sum it up to the fact that EVERY Sal’s Barbershop is awesome (as well as Sal himself of course!!) & I highly recommend TALON at the Rofo shop!! 🙂😁
