It was a day before Christmas Eve (12/23) I had an appointment I was 10 minutes late. I walked in and the receptionist told me that they will not take me they instead took their next appointment that was there early and after me. In my opinion since Im there on a monthly basis every month they should have made an exception of me being 10 minutes late it was the holidays and traffic was not good. ( I was shocked that they would do this and especially during the Holidays. I have waited plenty of times 20 -30 minutes while they were running late. No customer service skills in an industry where you need to focus on CS . I will not be returning. Ended up getting an appointment same day with a different salon with a an exceptional haircut . so it worked out for me.read more

I have been here a few times, but the most recent time, on May 26, the person cut my neck with a straight edge razor while shaving it. I will say that the person was very apologetic, which I appreciate. But, suffice to say, I was not very pleased with having a cut on my neck. I asked for a free haircut. The person said something to the effect of, "I'll see what I can do, but our owner is kind of cheap and doesn't like to give away things for free." They ended up giving me half-off, which in my mind, isn't sufficient for a blood-drawing experience. I won't return to this location. In fact, I debated about writing this review, but eventually decided in favor of it because they couldn't be empathetic enough to eat the damn bill after cutting my neck. By the way, two months later, and the cut mark is still visible. I do not recommend this place.read more

Have been here about 4 times....mainly because it is easier to get an appointment within a few days.On 5/23/23 my young son and I had an appointment at 430 with a level 1 barber that we had seen in the past. We arrived at 420pm. We had to leave on time because my son had a baseball game immediately after.We walked in and the barber was sitting behind the desk with the receptionist. He said he was waiting for someone to come out of the bathroom. I was a bit confused but went along with it....thinking that any minute he would start cutting our hair.Around 425 a person came out of the bathroom and got in the barber's chair. The barber started cutting him.I turned to the receptionist and asked what was going on. She said it was his 4pm appointment and that he had been in the bathroom since he arrived. I asked if the barber would have enough time to cut us and she said "hopefully."We waited until 450 when the 4pm guy had just walked out.We decided to leave because at that point it would have only been just about enough time for one of us to be cut, and I didn't feel it would have been of quality at that point.I was disappointed at the nonchalant attitude of the staff. No one seemed to care.I question the leadership and professionalism of the staff at the Collegeville location.Is there a manager? Not able tell.Is there a true business phone for the location? I noticed the receptionist answering a cell phone when someone called.Maybe generationally I am not fit for this type of place. Staff does not appear to be older that 25 years old (at least that day).Not that young age denotes lack of maturity, but it does not seem that there is a true manager there.I will not be returning to this establishment.The cuts were not anything special,....VERY overpriced...only redeeming quality is, like I said, the ability to get an appointment quickly.read more

Booked an appointment with Anthony for a beard trim last week, and I couldn’t be happier. I had just started growing my beard, but then had an unexpected event which made me want to get cleaned up a bit. I didn’t want to shave, but I didn’t want to look sloppy. I felt like my beard was still too new and thin to pull off a trimmed look, but Anthony did the impossible. And he intuited from the rest of my style, without me even telling him, that I probably wanted a natural look rather than a super groomed look with ultra straight lines. He really made me look good. I've been visiting Razrbar since since they first opened, and I've never been let down. Renee, who I first went to, has now gone to Florida, and Lauren now does a great job cutting my hair. Every time I bring my kid with me, the entire staff is always really friendly and makes the experience so much fun for her that they even paint and draw alongside her. So I was a little hesitant to stop in because it seemed like more than I wanted to spend on a haircut, but I'm really glad I did. The place is really professional and has a nice atmosphere.My stylist was named Chris, and he did an awesome job. I'm always nervous to go into more fancy places and ask for a military hair cut, but this guy has clearly been cutting hair for like 20 years and knew what he was doing. Probably one of the best haircuts I've had in my life.Shampoo was included in the cost, so there's a lot of value for what you're paying.Just be careful because they're moving. 5 Stars for the haircut, -5 stars for the receptionist!Walked-in, was not greeted by the blonde troll hiding behind her computer screen. Immediately proceeded to interrogate me as if i was a perp.My sin: I did not have an appointment! (It was a Monday @ 11:00 am, 2 clients in the entire place for4 stylists! Are you kidding me?). Apparently you need a special vetting to be allowed to receive services there.... at least based on the receptionist's attitude)Later as i was getting my haircut (Great Job L.C) same blonde troll initiated a verbal fight with one of the stylist in front of customers. The stylist was so upset and embarrassed , she left. Whether warranted or not, should have taken her aside.I won't be back unless she is gone. I took my brother to get some man shaping for his birthday. He is deaf and blind in one eye. He has a hard time shaving so he grew a long beard and has beautiful long hair. We booked a shampoo and cut and the signature beard service for 70$ and an hour worth of time online using my CC. Just before the apt. My brother washed his hair in the shower so we no longer needed the shampoo of the beard or hair. So the services changed. We booked an hour and the stylist spent n no more than 15 minutes on my bother and sent him onhis way. I gave him to pay cash but she charged my card for the services. I thought she would have adjusted the pricce considering she didn't give us the services we booked for. When I get home my card was charged 90$ for 12 minutes of her time and my brother looked exactly the same. I never would have given her a 20$ tip for what she gave us. She just wanted to get back to her phone. I feel she took advantage of my brother and gave him zero level of service. I expect more from a place like this. I won't be going back. I get better service at great clips and it doesn't cost m e 90$read more

I went this week and received the worst haircut of my life. The fact that they only allow for 30 minute haircuts which is to include a shampoo makes the barber hurry and she missed a ton hair. There are several spots where you can clearly see the hair is much different lengths on the back of my head, so not a place you can see easily on yourself. For $49 (that's including tip), it's is an absolute joke of a haircut. I'm not going to say the hairdresser's name because I do not feel like it was her fault since I could tell she was hurrying to get everything done in the time frame she's forced to work in. No other place that I've seen or been to during Covid has this time frame they force their barbers to work with. I get that you are trying to make up for the months you were closed but you charge $40 for a men's haircut and then make your barbers hurry, you're going to get poor results.read more

I expressed concern and asked that a manager call me as I would have liked to been privy to this information prior to the checkout. The owner called, and his reply was - Razrbar sent you an email not their fault I didn't read it, followed by asking that I never come back. He refunded me (I did not request), but with customer service (by the owner) like that I will gladly spend my $50 for a haircut somewhere else...read more

After arriving for my appointment I was greeted by the friendly staff who got me checked in. Took my temperature and offered me a chair while I waited for Erin to be ready for me. The experience was fantastic! Even with my mask on Erin performed magic to get me looking awesome. She took great care to make sure everything was perfect. Don't like the stylist's 'tude and unless your reservation describes in great detail ahead of time what you want they will not have the time to do a haircut and a beard trim (didn't ask for sculpting, just trimmers). Maybe I'm old school but barbers should be able to knock out a haircut and a beard trim in less than half an hour.read more

Haircuts are good, nothing to complain about there. The problem is the price, they obviously have to cover the rent and their high overhead. A quick cut and a shampoo will set you back over $30. Think about it. At 20 to 30 min for a cut, being generous, that is $60 to $90 per hour. The average aircraft maintenance facility charges $85 to $95 per hour.read more

I've had a very good experience every time I've come here. Their stylists are all very very good. They offer all the services a traditional barber shop offers but add in the scalp massage and the FREE beer. They also have a private room for straight razor shaving. I now only come here on special occasions.The place is on the pricey side. I have an under cut hairstyle and i usually just get a skin to 1 fade, and a top trim. That is a quick simple cut, it runs me $36 plus tip. That is double the cost of a sport clips or other barber shops in the area. Also, you have to make an appointment 1-2 days in advance. If you're like me, you don't like to make appointments 1-2 days in advance because my schedule can change quickly.read more

I'll start off with the pros. The place is very clean and the staff is quite friendly greeting you at the front door with a smile and a drink offer. The stylist was experienced and listened to the cut I wanted which turned out pretty great. For the cons: They had advertised to my business an 18$ haircut for first time customers. I confirmed this rate with the receptionist when I made my appointment and then again when I entered for my appointment having printed out a copy of the website advertisement. After receiving my haircut, the manager said he would no longer recognize the discount claiming the promotion had ended (there was no expiration posted anywhere on the website and I had already confirmed the price when making the appointment). He wouldn't budge on the price but I had already gotten my haircut so I was stuck paying twice what I had walked in expecting. No complaints on the cut or other staff workers, but for this reason I have to leave a low rating. Not a good way to bring in new clients.read more

I got butchered quite a bit by the one female barber and an un even shave from the girl that did my beard. The people were nice but my instructions were pretty much ignored after appearing to be received with understanding and confidence. I got a bunch of hair shaved off that I was growing and planned to keep. My thinning hair looks much worse and noticeable in the back it’s ridiculous. I first went to the razrbar for my wedding haircut and chose a completely new style. The stylist Melissa was amazing and made my hair looks fabulous. My second visit I was with Van. I showed her Melissa’s cut and she nailed it. Plus the razor finish on your neck and sides looks and feels great. The star treatment leaves you feeling like youre in a 5 star resort without the hefty price tag. Awesome service and attentive staff. This is my new place. I've been coming here for haircuts for a little while now. It took a bit to find a person to cut my hair the way I like it, since I have some issues with a cowlick that makes it look funny after a few days. Luckily, I found just the right person. The hours here are great for people with regular hours and they're always very friendly when I walk in. It's a little on the pricey side but totally worth it for me. I would highly recommend getting the Signature cut as the head massage alone is worth it.read more

Always friendly and more importantly clean. Service is great, make sure to book well in advance though as it can take a week or more to get in to see your preferred stylist.
