Description
Parker's Barber Shop in Collegeville is a traditional barber shop and our services include hair cuts, shape ups, and razor shaves for adults and children. They pride theirselves on great haircuts in a family friendly atmosphere and building rapport with our clients. Parker's started with a couple of lifelong barbers taking a chance and cutting out of a small shop. By focusing on delivering a great haircut one customer at a time, Parker's is fortunate to now employ +10 barbers cutting from sun up to sun down. Today the business has grown to 3 locations. Have a seat in one of our authentic 1930's Koken barber chair's, and they'll take care of the rest.

It was difficult to find a new barber after going to the same place for 13 years. I looked at a ton of local places with mixed reviews. I tried out Parker's this evening and couldn't have been more impressed from when I stepped in the shop to the time I left. I was greeted immediately and it was a very relaxed environment. Dylan took his time and made sure he knew how I wanted my cut and that I was happy with everything. Great barber shop and they really pay attention to the details. Highly talented barbers all around, including the apprentices. No rush jobs here, but be prepared for a VERY long wait. Most afternoons you can easily wait more than an hour. Guys (and girls) love this place and are happy to wait. Rodney is excellent with my son, Logan (6 1/2 years old)...cracks jokes, keeps the conversation going and makes him feel comfortable and welcome. We go to the Collegeville location every month and a half. Others barbers that have cut my son’s hair and did an amazing job were Mitch, Danny, and Dylan! I can’t speak to the others but everyone coming and going seems to be completely happy with their cuts. We’re always greeted as soon as we walk in the door and it’s nice to see everyone engaging in conversation throughout the shop. We leave satisfied every time and will continue to come back and spread the word!read more

Dylan just cut my 8 year old son's hair. Looks awesome. He was really nice and listened to what I wanted. I love that they take appointments. Ever since I got my first haircut here I have never gone anywhere else for a haircut. I see Brian every few months and even with that time in between he always remembers me and what I get. I have gotten haircuts from the other guys too and they are all very skilled and professional. My four year old son and I stopped in without an appointment and Rodney was kind enough to fit us in a couple hours later. When we came back Rodney went above and beyond making my son feel comfortable. They have a really cool chair that is made to look like a car and he pulled it up to the front (my son was asking me about it while we were waiting) and cut his hair while he sat in it. He talked to him the whole time and was fun and kind and made it such a great experience! Not only that but his hair is AMAZING! Perfect fade, exactly what we wanted. This is the second haircut my son has gotten from Parker’s and the cut is absolute perfection. My son is 16 and, as you might imagine, very picky with his hair. He has a lot of curly, fine hair which isn’t easy to cut. Dominic cut his hair so beautifully that even my husband is going to start going to him (and he’s been with his stylist for 10 years). The shop is clean, bright, and all the guys are really friendly. A woman brought her two year old son in while we were there and his barber was great with him. He was friendly, patient, and very kind to this little boy. They also have a really cool car chair for the little ones. They take walk-ins but I would definitely recommend making an appointment because it’s a busy shop. Trust me on this...you will not be sorry.read more

Dylan is lethally precise with a set of clippers and a blade. I have very thick hair and he didn’t miss a single hair on my head. Due to work scheduling I was unable to make it here for a few cuts in a row and my appearance suffered. Always excellent service!read more

Parker's has always been a place where you can get a good haircut, and for a while it also meant you may have to wait for a while if you didn't get there early. With the addition of scheduling appointments online or by phone in advance you can now save a lot of time waiting at the shop. But part of the downside is that some of the neighborhood feel has been lost. I recall waiting for my turn and enjoying conversation with other customers, and while is still somewhat true it has definitely dropped off. Don't get me wrong I do prefer knowing when I will be up, so perhaps I need to show up earlier for my cut to enjoy the banter.read more

First visit here as I am preparing to be in a wedding tomorrow and wanted to step it up a few notches from my norm. It was everything I expected and more. Excellent experience from the moment I walked in the door. Authentic barbershop from top to bottom, comfortable, laid back, warm and friendly. Was greeted by Mitch when I walked in as he was working on a customer. He made sure I had an appointment scheduled. Key point!! Schedule your appointment online in advance. It’s a great process, you get text confirmation and reminders. I scheduled with Brendan who is super talented and super chill. I showed him a photo of what I loosely wanted but told him to use his knowledge and skills. And he did. Best cut and beard trim I’ve ever had. Will most certainly return. I just went to Parker's for the first time this past week because my favorite barber, Sam, started working here and I will go where she goes! Parker's felt like a very clean and professional barber shop and I was impressed with their service and overall atmosphere. Despite the Covid-19 crisis, I felt very comfortable during my appointment with their adherence to regulations of keeping their patrons and staff safe. Scheduling was very easy and I am looking forward to my next cut here. The other barbers looked like they were doing some great cuts but I have to recommend you try booking with Sam, especially if you're looking for a nice tight fade.read more

I took my 11 year old son there this morning. His hair is long (think surfer, shoulder length) and really thick. He’d asked me for short hair, then to keep it long, and then a million other ideas. We walked in there with no real decision made. Sammi sat her in his chair and they discussed it and she helped him figure it out. She took great care to get it just right for him- a tight undercut, kept the length, trimmed it up.Everyone there is really nice, and they’re taking all necessary safety precautions. Sammi at Parker’s gives me the best haircuts I have ever had. Her attention to detail and passion for her job are evident in the cuts I get. She is amazing with kids too. This is a very nice shop. The place looks cool and smells great. I had an awesome experience with Joey. The man was extremely personable and made me comfortable throughout the entire occasion. I asked for a mature business man style and Joey absolutely did not disappoint. Left this over a year ago but this deserves a bump to the top. I have been coming to Parkers for over 10 years and have always left extremely happy with my haircut. I have been using Brian the past few years and would recommend him and Parkers to anyone. Having lived in the Collegeville area my whole life I have been to several barber shops in the area but no other site can compete with the quality of consistent service provided at each appointment.read more

Been going to this place for years, never disappoints. The whole shop is so clean you could eat off of the floor. All the barbers are awesome, especially my boys Brian and Joey!

I've been going to Parkers for about 2 years now. I have had three different barbers.Joey is great. Amazing attention to detail and cool conversation. And of course, a great haircut. I see Lauren a lot and both of them always deliver. Never been disappointed and I always tell them how I want the cut and they tend to it as needed. Love how adaptable and easy-going they are and the rest of the employees are. Lauren is a great conversation holder and the best in the biz.Thanks for always doing a great job and I'll keep coming back as long as the barbers are as good as them!! My 5yo son loves Victoria! Me, as a professional ballroom dancer and teacher at Fred Astaire Dance Studios always need pristine haircuts for performances and Parker’s is the best place to get them. All the barbers are amazing!read more
