Sal's Barbershop in Phoenixville is Sal's 3rd location and offers more than just cuts and shaves, it offers a custom experience at an affordable price. They are experienced in all styles of hair for men and boys including flat tops, fades, and all modern and ethnic styles. They can even do designs & logos in your hair in full color. Complimentary straight razor neck clean up with every service. Upon request, you can get free shoeshines, hot towel, massage & shampoo. Usually you'll find a stocked fridge with juice, soda and even beer, along with snacks & candy, all free. Sal truly puts his customers first.

We're going on the Marvel Disney Cruise next week and my son decided he NEEDED to have the Avengers Logo shaved into his hair. While searching around, some friends recommended Sal's Barber Shop. Walked in and told Phil what we wanted and he said "No Problem" and dived right in. He took great care with a squirmy seven year old, and the end result has made him the happiest kid in the world. When his mom asked how the haircut went, I said good and was immediately corrected by my son "Phil isn't good dad, he's AMAZING!"Can't recommend this place enough!read more

Started going to Sal's shortly after they opened and have had my hair cut by the majority of the barbers. They are all fantastic. It is super friendly and they do fantastic work. Even with 7 people cutting it can get crowded with a bit of a wait but they will let you know and Hold your spot if they are super busy.read more

I’ve brought my two year old son here and every time the guys are super patient with him and do a fantastic job in keeping him entertained and comfortable. It’s a positive experience, and the hair cut looks great! My husband has also been here and you can definitely tell the difference between a cut at Sal’s and any other place he’s ever been to. I was nervous moving towns/barbers, but Sal's made the transition oh so smooth. Sal's was clean, welcoming and all of the staff were friendly. I started bringing my boys (ages 2 and 4) to Sal’s when they reopened after covid and we’ve enjoyed every visit! Affordable, quality haircuts. The boys get compliments all the time and proudly tell people Brian cuts their hair. The juice boxes and snacks make it all the more special for them. The whole team is friendly and engage in conversation with the kids. Brian always finds ways to talk to them and make them laugh. Great with kids! Since the new ownership, safety guidelines have been tightened and customers and employees wear masks and they sanitize in between clients. When I went there pre covid I had a very different amazing experience. After covid.... Or should I say during, Ehh not so much. I had a reservation that I did online as they don't take walk-in anymore. OK Kool I understand that. I showed up right on time and had to wait almost 30-45 min as my Barber was "running a little behind" OK I understand that I guess. I had a female I saw there the first 6 times I went pre covid, was sad I dident get to have her again she was amazing. I do wish they had more mix and match items in their website. Ie beard hot towel, oil treatments, razor head shaves (they have razor face shaves but don't have a head option) stuff like that. I hope post covid it goes back to how it was I sure liked that better... I know they are dealing with allot and it's difficult so I'm trying not to be too harsh.read more

So, after several visits here I've decided it's time to review. Unfortunately, I don't remember the other barbers that had done my hair previously, but today was an experience I'm truly happy about (they've all been extremely good). My barber today was Juan, and he did a skin fade with beard trim. This is easily the best cut I've ever had. Not only is Juan one of the most personable people I've come in contact with, but he does an absolutely fantastic job. I have always left here happy, but this time I'm ecstatic about how it looks. Sal's fixed a terrible haircut that I received from a Phoenixville Salon. I could not look at myself without bursting into tears, and I did not think my hair could be fixed because the salon had cut it so short (and had left me with bald patches). But the kind folks at Sal's worked some absolute magic, and managed to salvage my hair and my self respect. Let me start by saying I don’t let many people cut my hair. I went for a haircut at the Phoenixville shop three weeks ago as a walk-in for a last-minute haircut because I had to go to the christening with my family and Brian told me that Maddie can cut my hair and make it look fire. I trusted Brian‘s word. And I just have to say the girl Maddie 21 years old cut my hair twice now amazing. This kid cut hair without a doubt perfect attention to detail and great chair side manner makes sure that you get what you want out of the haircut and beard trim beautiful perfect. Maddie is definitely going places if she continues to cut hair like this. All I can say is Maddie keep up the good work and reach for the stars because you will be a star one day.read more

My first haircut in 3 years, and I absolutely loved it. I have very long hair and scared to trust anyone. I went to the Phoenixville location and Sammi_snippets did exactly what I wanted and did an amazing job cutting my dead ends and still leaving my length. I can finally say I found my female barber that I can trust and will go to for now on. Ive seen the guys do some cuts while I was there and they do a really nice job. I’ve been having Eric Shaw at Sal’s PHX cut my hair for the last couple of years. My experience at Sal’s has always been incredibly positive. Easy to schedule an appointment, staff is exceptionally friendly, Eric takes the time to get to know you and find out the exact type cut you are looking for. I wouldn’t let anyone else do it.The shop/people are:CleanAppropriateConsiderateRespectfulTalentedApproachableThese are all contributing factors to our continued patronage of this specific Sal’s (Phoenixville). We have been to other locations, Royersford as one example, and won’t return due to crude humor, inappropriate language, non-age appropriate material/music, and disrespectful attitudes when customers leave to include mockery.Eric always goes above and beyond in his attention to detail and produces creative, unique pieces consistently. I am constantly asked who does my hair.Also, for any fellow piercing freaks out there - Eric takes time and is gentle even with fresh piercings like a helix or snug.I always recommend this shop.read more

Had been a regular very satisfied customer of Sal’s before COVID. Due to a job change could not make it to Sal’s. Tried other places near my work and was just not happy with the services I was getting. Set up an appointment several months ago with Joe B. He was very friendly and attentive to what I wanted. Then next appointment had to be scheduled with another barber. Was not totally satisfied, but gave them a try for awhile. Thankfully he was not available one time and I was put with Joe again. Updated——-Sal called and we talked it out. It was a total miscommunication. The fact he took the time and just tried to figure out the situation and correct, meant alot to me.Definitely a cool guy!Updated****Worst customer service. My son received a hair cut there that was not bad , but he wanted to fix some missed area on the back of the neck.Due to my wife being recently diagnosed with cancer and being in and out of the hospital, we were not able to immediately call the shop and talk it out.I take responsibility not checking my son’s hair sooner and accompanying him but when an owner hears the story and shows no empathy- I lose all respect for the establishment. I was willing to pay for another cut and they said they “ would take care of it”-but his tone truly showed his true colors and character.read more
