Description
The original George's Barber Shop has 4 chairs with a competent and professional staff. They can do your classic cuts, also fades, beard shaping, hot towel shaves, waxings, along with manicures and pedicures for men. They finish the haircut with a nice straight razor neck shave and warm shaving cream. They even have free beer and drinks for you while you wait. The barbers are chill. If you like to chat, they'll talk with you during your service, but if you prefer to be quiet, they will just focus on the cut. Pretty quick service, and they even offer a rewards program where every 10th cut is free.

Great value for an old school men’s cut. I’ve had 5 different barbers here, including the ever-welcoming George, and they all listen to instructions well, but I show them a photo of what I want and they nail it every time. They’re more thorough and exacting than a lot of stylists I’ve been to that charge double the price. But make no mistake, this is a barber shop, not a salon, and a darn good barber shop at that.read more

Visit NYC, and all the barbers were busy. Came here but called if walk-ins are available. The guy on the phone said yes. As soon as I got in , I was seated. The guy was great when I asked him what type of cut I wanted. Since I was in a rush my mask got sweated on and was hard to breath. The barber saw that and gave me a new mask. The owner of the shop in which I have known since about 1998 from a previous location who was my barber is a great human being. When I moved back to Brooklyn in 2015 and needed a haircut , I was just walking by this barber shop one day and couldn't believe who I saw. It must have been about 14 or so years since I last got a fresh cut by this man. Since then I have been coming here AND ONLY here. Emmanuel is my main barber now, he's like my brother. He does fantastic work at whatever level or style of hair you are looking to do. He listens , cares, and makes you feel very welcomed. If you value the way you look and feel make this place your primary spot. It's one of the last pieces of Park Slope that makes you feel like family. Eddy is the man!read more
