Sir Shave is not a service. It is a professional treat that every man or woman should afford themselves. The place is designed in a wonderful old school charm, with it's professionally dressed and impeccably styled and dressed tonsorialists. The service is superior to the last detail. My personal favorite is Samuel ( Sammy) Silva. He greets me with a big smile and a hearty handshake everytime, (except this last time because of the virus. Speaking of which, every precaution was taken, disposable apron, gloves, face mask and full face shield.) His attention to detail, precision and is always a great conversationalist. Sir Shave Barber Parlor gives you the best experience that you can find at a barbershop. The name says it all, it's a parlor. They provide excellent service, always making sure that your scheduled time is on point. I have been going to Sir Shave for a few years now, and I am never disappointed. The past year, I started bringing my two sons, and, even introduced a coworker to Sir Shave. They offer various snacks and drinks (water,juice, soda etc.). Being that I don't drink the hard liquor, owner Keith Banks buys me the special brand of Corona beer. The parlor is an asset to the community and you can never go wrong. Today I went to my scheduled appointment with Samuel who is a Master Barber. First and foremost this guy was very kind, friendly, down to earth, highly professional, and gave the best and what I consider to be top-notch service.I went for a beard shape-up and baldy. I was able to tell him how I wanted to look and he was executed the look with amazing precision. Samuel is the real deal and the ambiance of this establishment is amazing, the staff are very welcoming, and they provide various services and by far this is the best barbershop establishment I have gone to in the last 10 years.I will definitely be a regular client and I highly recommend that anyone check it out. I got my haircut about a week ago from this establishment and I’ve been attempting to go back ever since but haven’t found the time so I need to instead encourage others to go. This place is completely professional, clean, and friendly with an amazing, soho chic decor interior and welcoming yet high class exterior.I passed by Sir Shave with my brother in law and just happened to be complaining about the longing I was experiencing in regards to getting my hair cut. Since the pandemic, I had been weary of random locations that either neglected the rules or were operating outside of them and opted to instead just shave my own head sparingly. Once I doubled backed and saw the red velvet rope, upscale sign, and overall cleanliness of the presentation, I immediately called and made an appointment.The day arrived for my haircut and of course life got in the way and I was almost forced to cancel- thank God I simply shifted the appointment to later because I was given one of the best cuts of my life. Sam, my barber, was a very personable and likable person who legitimately killed my eyebrows better than any salon I’d ever been to. My haircut was fresh and clean, the entire experience (from handing out a masks so I could discard it after without getting hair on my personal one to my first impression of the chipper receptionist) was wonderful, and the vibe of the place makes you want to come back for more.I am making my next appointment as soon as possible and I hope this leads you to either making your first or making another. I can sincerely tell you that Mr. Samuel Silva is the Best BARBER in Suffolk County, NY. I haven't just contracted Mr. Silva's services....I have a significantly long history with his Professional Barber services. Knowing Sam since 2002, 18 years, he has been my Barber. I've never had a bad service from him in all these years. Sir Shave is a high quality barber shop. The first time I entered the parlor, I was treated with kindness and care amongst all the staff. My personal barber Pedro does a wonderful job at taking care of my hair. I often had the problem of not being able to find a good barber shop until I came to Sir Shave. Just had one of the best experiences with a barber in a long time. Everything about this parlor screams classy from the ease of making an appointment to Pedro mentioning I added a service that comes with my cut so I wasn't charged twice to discussing how I wanted the cut. This was the first time taking my son to this barber shop but it was so much more than a barber shop, it was truly an experience! Mr. Banks (the owner) greeted us at the door and took our temperatures. Then we were lead to Samuel (our master barber). He really listened to what we wanted and he really took his time to provide such a great haircut! I felt like I stepped by in time with the music on rotation, it was fun and free from profanities. The conversation flowing from all of the master barbers were good and clean conversations. Even when we checked out Mr. Banks spoke with us, created an account online for us and you can tell he truly cares about everyone and the community! Everyone was friendly, polite, and professional! The follow-up to make sure I was reminded of my appointment was consistent without being overbearing. I took my son here recently and Samuel the barber cut his hair, and it’s the best cut I’ve seen in a long time since living on Long Island. Mr. Banks and Eniko greeted us and they were very attentive and welcoming. My husband came here the next day and Pedro gave him a hair and beard cut. I couldn’t stop sweating how fine he looked all weekend! He cleaned him up real nice. My husband is super picky and was surprisingly impressed with this place. This Barbershop is nice great ambiance friendly staff . I find that there are some inconsistencies in the charges.the last time that I went I was charged $50 for a shape up/ beard trim. Prior to this I was charged about $39(maybe less) for the same service. I am not sure about many people but I cannot afford a $50 plus tip shape up every 2 weeks So as a result Ill hold off on going there for a while. Just because it cost less to drive an hour to my old neighborhood and get a shape up their. The one thing that I must say is that the owner of this establishment is very personable/amiable and does his best to give his customers a good experience.read more

*the booking*I was recommended to this location from a good friend. They took me in with no issues. For me, booking a barber is a bit difficult due to my schedule always changing.*arrival *Walking into this unique location with beyond beautiful and extraordinary artistic decor is an experience on its own. The music for the scene perfectly ( LL Cool J, which the blend of music changed and was perfect) there was a seating area and I mean really cool items, like chess boards. I was in awe. Then I was greeted right away by definitely the coolest barber in the place, and I believe the owner as well that was also really upbeat friendly and very welcoming. He showed me who my barber was and told me he would be done in a bit and asked if I had a photo to show how I like my hair. I did, and so did the barber I had. I took a few photos, and now it was my turn.*the cut*You can tell right away that the lines were going to be clean, and the cut was going to be on point. His area was super clean. They went over my cut once again to make sure how I wanted it. Then a few minutes into my cut a young lady came over and asked if I would like a beverage ( she does beautiful briads and unique styles, she showed me her portfolio 🙌🤯🤙) as always I joked with the staff and had an amazing home feeling experience. The cut was exactly like the photo we decided on. Clean lines, I mean really clean lines. The top was cut to the perfect size. I feel fresh ✨️ and Charmin clean 🤙🕺🕺🕺 .* conclusion*I will return and do recommend this location for everything it has to offer. From the crew to the ambiance . The location is extremely clean. The search is over!! After 3 and half years of trying to find a good barber for my son I stumbled upon Sir Shave Barber Parlor and it was a Blessing. We move to Suffolk County almost 4 years now and was not able to find a barber that would cut my child hair well. Every barber we went to which was quite a few, some well known in Deer Park, Lindenhurst and the surrounding area, messed my son hair line up- pushing it way back, he had uneven cuts, the last Barber shop we went to-I won’t post the name, after his cut he broke out with bumps on the back of his head. I was so disappointed and disgusted that we weren’t able to find an experience Barber that understood what they were doing. We decided to take him back to his childhood Barber in Queens. The Friday before Christmas I was on my way to pick up my son from school to take him to Queens to get his hair cut after stopping at the Chase Bank in Wyandance Square I saw this Barber Shop Sir Shave the hostess said come on in, it had a warm and inviting atmosphere, the staff was very professional. After speaking to the young lady at the register explaining what I was looking for- I felt a sense of comfort that they had some experience Barbers, so I made an appointment and that same day my son got the Best Hair Cut in Suffolk County after 3 & half years! Wow, what a journey I certainly wish we found this place earlier but we move forward knowing that we found a Barber and a place my Son could comfortably get his hair cut. Well done Thank you Razza! Mr. Banks- You have an amazing Barber Shop filled with professional staff and a great ambience. Finding this place was the perfect Christmas gift for my family. I got my son's starter locs installed here. Staff was welcoming and personable and the atmosphere is fire. Service was completed faster than expected and he's very pleased with it. Highly recommended!
