L.I. Finest Barber Shop is an old-school Barbershop that can do haircuts, fades, skin fades, flat tops, hot towel shaves, facials, hair and beard color. They are also good with kids, and can also provide waxing for eyebrows, ears, and nose. The barber shop is located in a shopping center, so finding parking is never an issue. Family friendly and oriented barber shop.

This was my first visit to L.I. Finest, needed a haircut after these weeks of quarantine. i was greeted warmly by the staff and done so by name. the haircut was efficiently done and exactly to my liking and request. i apologize for not paying closer attention to his name, but i believe it was Arslan who worked on me. he was friendly and professional at all times ans really knew his craft. the prices are reasonable and rival that of most franchise establishments. i would certainly return here when the time comes for another trim. thank you for the excellent work.read more

Best barber shop in long island and especially Nassau. All the barbers are extremely professional and pleasant. They make you feel like you're the best customer every time. They really crater to their customers. During the holidays they have a full drink and desert station that they offer their customers for free. My go to barber is David (AKA- the man with the "golden clippers"). He is really good at all hair styles and is always happy to see his customers. All the barbers there are good and I would recommend any of them to friends and family.read more

I would recommend for anyone to go to this place for a haircut! You can't get any better than top notch. Arthur is the haircut and shaving wizard! Him and his staff can do anything from a regular haircut, to a custom look or a hot towel shave. There are also many females I see in there getting haircuts and blow outs. This is truly an all around hair stylist/barber shop. Also, the chairs are very comfortable and the massage chair they have is amazing. Probly the best Barbershop in Long Island! Arthur and David as well as the entire crew there are very nice people with great personalities , makes you feel like home. The best part about it, after my haircut they put a menthol cream on my face then a steamy hot towel. Very higentic and they always making sure my haircut is top knotch. Amazing experience! Sams the man! He took great care of me . I usually go to him before this pandemic when shaves are aloud and he takes his time with the shaves he puts hot towels on my face so my hair melts off. I went for the first time the other day after a recommendation from a friend. I have to say it is one of the best barber shop experiences that I have ever had. The staff were all very friendly and welcomed me into their shop as if I had been a long time customer, barbers that weren't even cutting my hair were saying hello it was cool to experience. Sam cut my hair and did an excellent job. He communicated with me every step of the way and even had some recommendations from what I had originally asked and I couldn't be happier with how my hair came out. Today, I got my hair cut by Sam. I can tell you this gentleman takes his time and focuses on detail. I travel between NJ/NY and have been to multiple barbers; his fade with the combover is on point. The barber shop itself is nice and clean. At this spot, you pay for what you get and that is QUALITY. My favorite part of is that if I wanted to I am able to walk in and get a hair cut by any of the guys, each who have their own technique, and the quality of the hair cut is consistent no matter who you go to. I hadn’t had a decent haircut since the pandemic!! After looking online (as is now the norm when you want something), I came across the title “Long Island’s finest barber shop.” Because of other services listed (ear hair removal) I decided to give it a shot. The truth if the matter is, I do a lot of on-camera work for television and I’m skeptical about who I let touch my hair. I was greeted by the owner Arthur who took me without a wait and not only was he kind, caring and a pleasure to talk to (we had a common bond over the love for watches), the man was a walking Edward Scissorhands! Brilliant work. Then on to his brother Dave for the hair removal. Ear hair is no fun but with a little bit of wax and Dave’s gentle pull... like a baby’s ear (those were his words, but I agree). Before I left, I chose some quality hair products imported from Turkey. I will say that I will look forward to seeing my new friends again soon. Anyone reading this should know that in no way was I compensated to write this truthful review. Some of the other reviews mention the prices. If you’re looking for a cheap $10 haircut, no this isn’t the place. I imagine the guys there would agree when I say, if you have a ten dollar head then go find a ten dollar barber (if such a thing exists). Absolutely one of the best barber shops you will find. I have been a customer for years now. These guys are true craftsmen at their trade. Everything is kept immaculate, sanitary and clean. Not only do I get my haircut here but I bring my teenage son as well. Always leave beyond satisfied. Went it around 10:40AM on a Wednesday and came out in 20 minutes. Price was fair for the service. Asked for a fade and an inch off the top and didn't feel like talking too much after that and the barber reciprocated.Usually cut my own hair so I'm glad to have a welcoming experience and a good haircut by the end of it. Came in for a haircut today, and waited briefly for Alan to finish the customer ahead of me. Alan is a very professional barber, and he listens closely to what you ask for. I had initially asked for a number 2 on the sides, but Alan sensed I was not sure about how short the 2 would be. I've started coming here consistently with Mike cutting my hair, and I've gotten top-drawer service every time. The shop is clean and well-kept, and there is always someone that is ready to cut your hair if you need a cut and run.Mike is my guy there, in terms of haircut skills, he is awesome. My barber Jay is the best barber that I have ever had. I only allow my hair to be cut by Jay for the past 15 years. he is extremely customer focused, friendly, and has the sharpest cutting skills of anyone that I have seen. This is going to sound very similar to the last review but Jay has also been my barber for almost 15 years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I have lived as far as Albany and Jay was still the only barber I would use. The new shop finally matches Jays ability. You will not be disappointed. Give him a shot and he will be the only barber you use. Jay is the best!read more

Jay is a fantastic barber. I have been going to him for the last 10 plus years. He has great attention to detail. Jay takes a genuine interest in his customers and remembers their haircut preferences. He also reaches out to them if he won't be in.
