Scout’s Barbershop in Nashville, TN (Germantown) combines quality and convenience, giving you fresh cuts at affordable prices in friendly and welcoming environments. Founded in 2013, we were the first unisex barbershop in Nashville and have grown to have several locations in Franklin, Sylvan Park, Germantown, Wedgewood-Houston, and the Gulch.

A very friendly, warm environment. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. My first time there and my hair was done exactly how I explained it. I love the fact that they use straight razor to clean you up.After my cut I wanted a wash. I was sat down and prepared for it but the water wasn't running. Apparently they had been working on it and had yet to be turned back on. Oh well... Also, my barber told the cashier to charge me for a Buzz Cut which is $15 but I ended up getting charged for a Short cut which was around $27. I didn't make a fuss, just paid and left. This place can be a bit expensive however, I definitely recommend it.read more

This past Sunday I called Scouts, and they were able to get me in on a short notice. Nicole was the person who cut my hair. It was my first time having Nicole cut my hair, but it definitely won't be my last. She was very observant, and made sure she knew what I was looking to achieve. I've already had multiple people come up to tell me how well my hair cut looks. I'll for sure be calling Nicole in a couple months when it's time for my next haircut.read more

When I tell you that I searched all over Nashville to find the perfect barber, I mean it. I had an amazing barber, to whom I was very loyal, who moved to South Carolina, leaving me to find another barber/hair artist. I tried many new barbers over several years, gave them many months to see if they even remembered me, if they were organized, could give me an amazing cut, whatever. All of the above.Every pun intended, Cody made the cut!! I friggin love the dude. He gets my hair all the way together, is consistent, speaks faster and has more entertaining stories than anyone I know. He's just that good. Seriously.I will fight you over my slot with Cody. Alex Bizzoco is kind, detail oriented, and focused! I’d never had my hair done by her before tonight and she knocked it out of the park. Took her time, was very deliberate, and very professional. I have now gotten 3 haircuts from the Germantown location since moving here last summer. The first two were great! However, today was without a doubt the worst haircut I have ever had. The girl looked as if she would rather be anywhere else, it was uneven, not what I asked for (gave verbal and a photo of what I normally get), and much shorter than normal. The gentleman who used to cut my hair had moved out of state so I was in the market for a someone new. I did a little digging on Instagram and came across Julia’s page and saw that her drop fade haircuts looked good so thought I’d give her a try. She absolutely knocked it out of the park! UPDATE: The manager, Jessca, went above and beyond to better my experience. She was very nice and helpful. She not only refunded me for my bad experience, but she asked me to come back, free of charge. THAT is customer service.Hands down, the worst haircut I have ever received. Heather Fulbright was my stylist. Heather completely ignored the direction I gave her for what I wanted. Every haircut I get at Scout's usually ends with the straight razor on the neck. I had to request this from her. She then scraped my neck extremely hard, leaving me with razor burn. My neck the day after is pictured below. Nearly every time I come to Scouts, it is a hit or miss experience. Usually with the lower tier stylists. Even with the lower tier stylist, I am still paying nearly $40 dollars for a haircut with tip and receive a below average haircut. Very disappointed and upset with my experience.read more

I have had my hair cut a number of times at different Scouts locations in the area. I've always been satisfied and sometimes even very satisfied but that all changed yesterday. I'm over the moon and completely thrilled with my new hair cut. Having bounced around between stylists, I saw that Cody had some good reviews and I desperately needed change. I had very long hair and I was very nervous about the change. Cody talked through options with me and listened when I explained to him what was important. He did a great job on the hair cut, the style, and he made me feel really comfortable and relaxed during the process. I think he's an outstanding and enjoyable person in general. Thank you, Cody! Well, that’s what happens every time I go into Scouts Barbershop in Germantown and get to see Trinity. She provides a Tremendous haircut and really understands what look you are trying to achieve. But then Trinity goes the extra mile and just makes you feel “at home” and let’s you step away from the craziness of any day to relax and simply enjoy a great haircut and some awesome conversation.Oh, and after your haircut Trinity asks you if you want her to razor the back of your neck!
