Scout’s Barbershop in Nashville, TN (Gulch) combines quality and convenience, giving you fresh cuts at affordable prices in friendly and welcoming environments. Founded in 2013, we were the first unisex barbershop in Nashville and have grown to have several locations in Franklin, Sylvan Park, Germantown, Wedgewood-Houston, and the Gulch.

The absolute best haircut I have had hands down. The atmosphere was awesome. Sam is the best of the best. I wished I lived in Nashville or that Sam would move to New Hampshire to open a shop there. And hey, beer comes with the haircut. It doesn't get better than that.read more

Jacqueline Torres was my stylist, and she did a phenomenal job, true master of her craft!Competence: 5/5 she’s incredibly focused and pays attention to detail. She shook my head like a joystick and got every hair in line like a Hair Stylist Drill Instructor! Just kidding, she’s gentle but well measured.Professionalism: 5/5 wonderfully smooth from the desk to the chair. Thankfully, I had already booked online, but was in-and-out without hang-ups. I’m ok with criticism, and Jacqueline gently told me what looked best. She was right! I told her what I wanted and she made it look better than I’d hoped.Friendliness: 5/5 Jacqueline improved my overall experience with Scout’s Barbershop as a brand. When you watch an artist that’s conversational engage with you it’s refreshing. I’ll be back to this location just for her from here on out.read more

All around excellent experience! I'm not a local so when I randomly walked in off the street I had no idea what to expect. Immediately, I was smacked in the face (in a good way) with a cozy atmosphere and the classy decor of the shop. Ever been smacked in the face with something cozy? Well come on in to this fine barber shop and you'll know what I mean. It's delightful. Anyways, I was welcomed by the staff right away as well. The receptionist was very helpful in getting me an appointment as soon as possible. I believe it was Ashley who cut my hair, and she did an exquisite job on my fade. She was friendly and conversational, as well informative during the cut. I've had many haircuts in my 26 years on this round ball (yes it's spherical, go away flat earthers), but this was easily one of the best experiences and cuts I've gotten. 11/10 would recommendread more

What a great atmosphere! You're greeted when you walk in. After checking in you're offered a complimentary beverage. The staff are all super friendly and the stylists are very skilled. The price for the service rendered is quite exceptional. I would recommend this establishment to all.read more

I’ve gone to this Scouts location as well as the Germantown location going on four years now. I love the atmosphere and the stylists. Amelia was mine today and she was incredible. Admittedly I didn’t give her much direction, but she ran with it and nailed it. She has an incredible personality as well. My normal stylist, Faith, at Germantown, is also amazing. Highly recommend scouts.read more

This was my first time visiting Scouts and the experience was great! I was able to quickly book an appointment online with prices clearly listed. Jacquelyn cut my hair and did a great job! She was very knowledgeable with the type of cut I had and pointed out several things I hadn’t known about hair cutting styles. She held a great conversation and wasted no time. I got my hair cut by Jesi and she was phenomenal! I went in with long damaged hair and left with this amazing, cute bob! that I love! I went here for my first haircut in a long time and the entire staff was welcoming and comforting, from the receptionist, Bella, to Amelia that gave me the best haircut I've ever had. Something very special about coming in anxious about my hair since I had been growing it out and to be comforted and reassured that it made her happy to do a "transformation haircut". I have been getting my haircuts from Keslie at the Gulch location for over a year now. She is far and away my favorite barber that I have ever had. Super consistent, personable, and always makes it a positive experience. She is also exceptionally fluent in corny Dad jokes. Always a 5 star experience.read more

10/10 cannot recommend Emmy enough! I've had an undercut for three years due to very thick hair and have gone to multiple salons in the area but Emmy is the only person who's been able to straighten it out and fix it for me. I get my hair cut at Scout’s Barbershop and I am thoroughly impressed by the speed and efficiency of the service. I am always in and out in no time, and the result is exactly what I want. My barber, Tayler Hill, is fantastic. She is friendly, attentive, and extremely skilled at giving me the haircut I desire. The shop itself is clean, welcoming, and well-run. My hair is weirdly difficult to cut, if it isn’t done right it looks good at first but then grows in weird on the top and sides. I haven’t been able to find anyone in Nashville to cut it right in four years, until I booked with Ashley Wilkerson in the Gulch. I just show her a picture and she 100% nails it every single time - not to mention she’s funny as hell, pays attention to every detail, and always makes it a great experience. Highly recommend.read more
