Description
Persons of Interest Barbershop in the Carroll Gardens area of Brooklyn, is a really cool styled barber shop with a laid back vibe. You can take a seat in some '60s Belmont barber chairs with built-in ashtrays for an expert haircut, beard trim, straight-razor shave or buzz cuts. Although, as a Covid-19 precaution they are currently not providing beard trims or shaves. Listen to some classic music hits and sip on a complimentary beer or soft drink.

I have been going here for eight years. Ask for Jess. Or maybe don't so I can still get an appointment with her. But really- anyone who cuts your hair will do an awesome job. Never had a misstep here. They are all really nice and talented.I get a lot of comments on my hair and I always get great tips from the barbers.read more

I’ve been coming to Persons of Interest Barbershop on Smith street probably for the last 7-8 years. I always joke with Kathleen about the before look and after look which is hugely different. Kathleen brings amazing skill and creativity to every haircut I get. I always feel like a million dollars when I get out of her chair.read more

Persons of interest in Brooklyn is the only place I trust to get my hair done. Danny first cut my hair and I won't let anyone else touch it since. They offer you a drink when you walk in the door so you can finish a beer or a can of coke while you get your hair done. The cuts are excellent and for the quality their prices are very reasonable. I would recommend persons of interest and specifically Danny for all of my friends and family to get their hair done.read more

I've been coming here for over 5 years and absolutely love Persons of Interests. In particular Caroline. She is the only person I will let cut my hair after many years of trying to find somebody right. Especially hard to find somebody in NY who is excellent at longer, wavy, shaggy hair. She is THE best. The shop itself is great, everyone is super kind and during COVID their process was really thought out and well done. Absolutely recommend.read more

Just had my haircut today and I literally could not have been more satisfied. Not only am I usually extremely picky with haircuts (and awful at giving clear instructions of what I’m looking for) but I also decided to give up growing my hair out and get it cut short for the first time in almost two years.Caroline absolutely nailed it. Best haircut I’ve ever had. From the beginning she was interested in what I wanted, talked me through how she was approaching it and what she was doing and was just fun to be around. Hard for me to justify the price for the hair cuts I usually get, but it was an outstanding haircut. Very nice environment and, if you don't make an appointment, a very nice neighborhood to wait in.

I've been getting my here cut here for a while and Po is always spot on. He's professional, talented, and always gives me a great cut that has me looking my best. Easy to book him online, then get a great haircut by Po (with a free seltzer or beer) and get out and on with my day. Highly recommend.read more
