I moved from Queens to West New York last summer and searched for a new barbershop on Yelp. Off The Top was a highly reviewed shop so I checked it out. It impressed me because it was very clean and organized inside. The barbers are friendly and welcoming. And they play great music. Lisa has been cutting my hair for the last year. She is consistently good. Lisa is thoughtful, considerate, and very punctual. I am very grateful to have them in the neighborhood.read more

Shout out to Fred Fox The Best Barber Ever! Always Keeps me looking right! He uses his elite skills to perfect my beard. Using beard oils, beard butter, and etc. There is no other place you can get a Fred Fox Fade. This is the best barbershop around they are punctual with appointments and also have a very friendly environment. Highly recommend to anyone!!read more

I have to say a really great barbershop from the first time I walked in until now. My first experience was very welcoming didn’t even get to take a seat before someone asking me do you have an appointment or would you like one of our barbers to take of you. So many options and they take care of you as soon as they can. Plenty of areas to seat down and be comfortable and a TV at ever corner with bottles of water if you’d like. I highly recommend this barbershop.read more

Hand downs the best barbershop in the area! They offer you bottled water while you’re waiting & if you’re a walk-in like I was they try their very best to fit you in without rushing the haircut (best fade I ever gotten)! The shop itself is clean and neat (including the bathroom) I already scheduled my next appt.read more

Lisa is the best. She is very artistic, detailed, and perfectionist . She goes above and beyond to do exactly what you want, and she takes her time like you’re the only one. Walked in a few days ago and waited about 30 mins before being seen. Was taken by a guy named Will. I showed him a photo, and he did a great job minus taking off just a bit more hair than I wanted on the top. Even that part I’m not too mad about cause it will grow in like 2 weeks. Nonetheless I’ve never had a barber do such a great job on my hair and give me exactly what I asked for. And even better he gave the exact specifics of what he did on my hair so I could get it done somewhere else if I wanted. I am coming back for sure and I definitely recommend Will as a barberread more

To sum up my experience it would be that OFF THE TOP BARBERSHOP are beyond amazing! I was greeted, acknowledged and assisted within minutes. My brother who is on the spectrum does not enjoy haircuts, and Al was nothing short of professional, caring and experienced. He catered to my brother's needs and gave him an amazing haircut that filled his confidence. I 1000% recommend this barbershop to ALL clients. Alex, the owner, very chill and welcoming. As soon as you enter the shop, you're respected and valued both as an individual and customer. (I was offered a bottle of water! I'm 46 yrs old, and I've never been offered anything to drink at any other shop!) Lol!To book an appointment, very simple! Book it online and if you're looking for a barber, and you're uncertain about who to trust with your business, you can look at the photos of all of the barbers' work from "Off the Top," and book an appointment with who you prefer. The prices are a little high for a 3yr old it was around 30-32 $ i paid the same price for my haircut, I was a bit surprised at that. The atmosphere was cool. The barbers are all learning how to cut it seemed like school training. My haircut did not come out even but it's all good dude tried.read more

Off the top barbershop definitely has some of the best barbers in north bergen. For example “Bryan”, this guy never disappoints. His tapers are perfect.
