Gotham City Barber Shop (10th Ave) is a consistent and professional barber shop for a variety of hairstyles, beard trims, and hot towel straight razor shaves with a nice hot lather. The shaves are definitely worth it, if you have the time. The barbers are friendly and can provide good conversation. They are pretty quick so wait times won't be bad just walking in.

Just received my first ever hot towel shave. I was unsure where to go but after seeing great reviews online I decided to give Gotham City a shot. I walked in and the first chair to free up, after less then a 5min wait, was Isaac’s and boy was I lucky. I was a little nervous going in but his confidence quickly put me at ease. I was so happy with the shave and trimming of my goatee, that after, I also asked for a haircut which did not disappointed. All in all a great experience and I will definitely be back again!read more

Optimum Barbershop service! I was not expecting their people would be this accommodating and professional. They never fail my high expectations from the beginning until the end of the service. Just moved into the area and was looking for a new barber. Couldn’t get more convenient than Gotham. Not too busy when I went in on a Monday afternoon and was out fairly quick. Tim (I think his name was, as it was on the mirror) was quick but didn’t make me feel rushed as some barbers have. Definitely will be back.read more

Saw a ton of different shops, ended up with this place and it was a great decision. I read the reviews and asked for Jay. He was fanstistic, helped me pick a good length for my hair and beard. I was today in this barbershop for the first time. I did not do any appointment. My barber was Danny, so polite, accurate and professional. I’m happy that just spontaneously went there. Thanks a lot Danny! Also about the price. Just 30$ for haircut and + 2$ for washing had. In Brooklyn I pay same price but mostly not happy for the results. Danny gave me a card, which after 9 haircut the 10th will be free.read more

I switched to this barbershop after going to a fancier salon and some more expensive places for a few years. I’ve tried out most of the barbers here, but Omar has been the best one for me. He gives an amazing fade, which is a result of him taking his time and being very meticulous. I really appreciate him not rushing through my cut just to get to the next customer.A regular haircut is $40 now, which is kinda crazy considering I used to get a barber cut for $14 in other parts of the city when I first moved here.
