Description
TRUGLORY is part barbershop and part ministry with a goal of helping those less fortunate. A portion of all haircuts, products and apparel sold go towards people of various needs. They also accept clothing donations and provide monthly free haircuts for the homeless. In the shop, you can expect a family friendly environment where you don't have to worry about offensive language, music or inappropriate conversations. Their haircuts are well done without taking an excessively long time.

2.5 STARS to 4 STARS Edit: *Owner manager reached out to me personally to offer a refund and a free haircut. That's great customer service and shows pride in ownership and quality. Turns my review from wanting to go elsewhere to looking forward to revisiting. I also understand that when you do 100s of cuts you're not always going to be on your A game for every cut.*Clean good looking barber shop. Good music playing, but not crazy loud. Appointments are kept right on time. So, that's all a plus.But I suggest you go somewhere else if you want 100% complete quality hair cut. Ace, was my barber twice. 25+ years of getting fades, shaves, and lined up, I don't expect to leave the barber shop and go home and shave my neck front and back and clean up the spots the barber missed.After a "fresh" $30 haircut, having to go shave around my beard and neckline at home defeats the purpose.Waste of time and money. Even having to write this bad review is a waste of time.read more

Had my haircut done by Gabe Fuentes. This is an excellent barbershop that exhibits professionalism in a classy environment. The shop itself is very modern looking, nice, and clean. Normally good music is playing at a reasonable volume. All appointments are timely which is also very convenient. I would highly recommend getting cut by Gabe. The quality of the haircut is definitely PREMIUM but what stands out for me is the service. I started getting my haircuts at Truglory Barbershop about 6 years ago, recommended by my brother. Best decision I've ever made, I've had my hair cut by pretty much every barber, the owner Tito is currently my main barber not once did I ever leave disappointed and that goes for all the barbers. Making an appointment is super convenient, there is no such thing as waiting 30 mins or more like other Barbershops. Also, if your not sure exactly what kind of cut you want or need, these professionals help you out with recommendations and always comes out superb. I'm a picky guy. Sometimes too picky. So picky, when I moved to Jersey, I used to drive from NJ to Queens just to cut my hair. Tito @ Truglory fixed this. Easy booking using Booksy. Parking was readily available on the street but I found out there was parking at the back as well. (I went for a 2pm appt.) My barber, Andrey was exceptional. He was attentive, polite and gave me the exact hair cut I wanted. He took his time, paid attention to detail and the cut came out perfect. I like that he took time out to ask in between the cut to make sure I was satisfied. I'm definitely booking him next time I go back. I recommend him or Isiah. This is my third visit for beard trim and line up, and I got frustrated lately. Had an appointment with Isaiah. Nice and polite guy. However, he rushed up with my beard, trimmed unevenly, poor detailing, trimmed left side of my mustache more than right side, doesn’t look symmetrically lined up. Didn’t get properly cleaned.
