Got a decent haircut. Was expecting a bit more communication with the hair guy but he seemed uninterested in giving any suggestions or communicating. I have got better haircuts for lesser price so a trip all the way to this shop didn't seem to be worth it. Not sure of a second round.read more

I've walked by this place countless times as it is right by my office. i always avoided going in as I tend to gravitate more toward the more authentic looking old-school barber shops. Today I finally went in and got a skin fade from Vinny. He's a very talented young man who took his time giving me probably one of the best cuts I ever had. Though the price is almost double what I normally pay at the old-school places the care, attention and expertise that Vinny provided shows why the higher price is warranted. Online booking is always quick and painless, finding the shops are easy, and there is almost no wait time between walking in for an appointment and being seen. Sam Jr. always greets me with a warm smile and a handshake. He always knows exactly what I’m looking for and even makes small adjustments as the seasons change. Free neck cleanups a week and a half later are always welcome, as are the hot, minty towels! Sam Jr. can give you a fresh new look in 20 minutes. What an experience. I went in for just a beard trim and shave and it was incredible. Mike gave me tips for maintaining my beard and the whole experience was great. They pamper you throughout and it was a welcomed getaway on my lunch break. Definitely will be coming back.read more

First time into their shop today, and I wasn't disappointed. I gave Frank a blank slate(I needed a haircut badly), and he did a great job whipping into shape. Zion was an excellent barber. The Barber Shop was clean and all the barbers took the necessary precautions regarding the Covid situation (Everyone had a mask and gloves on, Barbers all sanitized their tools prior to use and used what i think was a UV Machine as well). Zion did a fantastic job on my haircut and beard trim. He asked me what i had in mind and i told him and he made it look great! The value of the haircut exceeds the cost! I was recommended this barbsershop by a coworker, now it’s my duty to recommend it to you. Very clean, the employees disinfect each chair prior to a cut, all of them wearing masks. Regardless of these challenging times the space is kept in tip top condition. Most importantly the haircut was above and beyond what you you pay for. The service is fast and professional, you get exactly what you want for less than what you’d hope to pay! My barber Adam was especially good at the broadway location. 200% coming back. My go-to barbershop closed permanently because of COVID, and I was recommended Made Man Barbershop by several friends. I'm so thankful that they did, because this is one of the best haircuts I've gotten since moving to the city.I had an appointment with Adam and he did an amazing job of listening to my wants and delivering a sleek, stylish cut in a short amount of time. He styled my hair perfectly after the cut, and used a hot hand towel to wipe off the bits of cut hair that were on the back of my neck.Their online appointment system is super easy to use, and you're able to pay for your service online when you book the appointment - just make sure you bring cash for a tip!I'm very excited to go back and have Adam cut my hair againread more

Just has my first haircut in months at this location. My old place closed down due to the pandemic, and I was apprehensive about finding another place to cut my hair, but tried this place based off of a friend’s recommendation. So glad that I did. I had my hair cut by Jordan, who was very friendly, professional, and patient as I explained what I wanted and showed him pictures of my hair when it was short. The haircut Jordan gave me is AWESOME and looks even better than what I had been getting at my previous barber for 4 years. Not only that, but the prices were significantly cheaper as well. I got my first haircut since the beginning of corona, that wasn’t done by myself or my girlfriend. I’m happy I went there. My barber, Sam, was very knowledgeable of both hair and skin care. He gave me a great fade and trim/ styling on top. It was more pricey than a lot of barbershops in the area, but you pay for what you get, and what I got was worth it. I also got my haircut before 8am which they surcharge for, as they generally open at 8am. The fact that they could accommodate that at all is amazing. Absolutely recommend and I will only be going here from now on. I’ve gone to around 10 barbershops in NYC and none of them of come close to the level of quality I got here.read more

Sam Jr. does an excellent job and keeps you laughing the whole time. He also takes great care to make sure that his work station is kept neat and tidy and that all Covid related precautions are kept. He always wears a mask and is careful to wipe down the chair and surrounding area both before and after my haircut. In short I highly recommend him.read more

Standard barbershop but modern at the same time and is currently operating the same as it always has, but less crowded and we wear masks! I always go to Alison at the 23rd St location to do my fades and he has never let me down! Being a straight woman with half my head shaved and wanting it to still be soft and feminine while also making sure you get a really well done fade is very difficult to find, so I’m glad Alison is consistent and knows what he is doing! Steve is extremely talented in his craft and makes sure your hair looks exactly the way you want it to. Came into town from Philly and needed a haircut short notice. Google reviews said that Adam was the man to go to and boy were they right. I booked the “40 minute haircut” and got the works. My fade was skin tight and the edges were nice and crisp. He even cleaned up my beard lines and eyebrows to top it off. The hot aromatic towel and massage was icing on the cake. I've had good haircuts, but the haircut I booked with Adam is far superior than any haircut I've had before. Select the 40 minute haircut as it allows Adam to cut, shave, trim, and style your hair, beard and mustache with unmatched precision. I was also impressed by his hot towel treatment, use of all natural products and how he permanently got rid of my cowlick. I had my hair cut here for the first time yesterday with Evelin, and I was very impressed. She gave me a great cut and I couldn't be happier. She was clear and easy to talk to, asked me meaningful questions about how I'd like my hair styled, and in the end she did a great job.Beyond Evelin's skills, the shop itself was excellent too. Went here for the first time to get my haircut in over six months and Steve took incredible care of me and made me look my best before i head back to school next week. I got the 40 min haircut and he did amazing work, including a deep conditioning treatment that made my hair so soft and no longer super dry. My barber was booked elsewhere and I was in a jam. I walked in here without an appointment and having never been there-did not know what to expect.
