These guys are amazing. I seriously don't understand why anyone would go elsewhere for a haircut. Why pay more when Danny & his crew take excellent care of you for such a great price. Jack is my go to guy for great haircuts. Jacks is a real professional. I am very picky with my haircuts and he is very patient and always does an excellent job. Very nice people very friendly and clean! I asked the barber if he had worked with longer hair and he said yes only to yank on my hair and trim off the ends unevenly. It was clear he had not cut long hair much and I would have been fine if he couldn’t cut long hair and was upfront about it. Ended up paying a bit much for what was just a trim around the neck and ears. That being said all the shorter haircuts looked great so it may not just be a place for longer hair!read more

Affordable place in a good location with a coffee shop next door if you’re early for your reservation. I’ve seen a few of the barbers here, but I tend to prefer booking with Ray or Isaac lately (plenty of others there I have not seen, but these guys have done well for me so I stick with them). Ray in particular is very meticulous with his work, which is why he’s been my favorite lately. Tim is my go-to barber in nyc - best cut I’ve got after living here for 7+ yrs and trying numerous barbers. You tell him what you’re looking for, and he executes to a tee with meticulous attention to detail. Reached out to the business on google because I was nervous that a woman with hair getting close to a bob might need to find a salon instead. They reassured me that they could cut any hair, and scheduled an appointment for me on the spot. At my appointment Djasur listened to all my concerns and desires for my hair, from losing bulky sections to keeping length and more, and he gave me an extremely-attentive-to-detail scissor cut that I really like. I’ve been going to Jack’s for over a year now and I’ve found it to be the best in the neighborhood. Tim is my guy - high attention to detail, a real professional, cuts real clean and tight, and actually knows how to navigate Asian hair and my receding hairline 🙂 But that said, all the barbers here are excellent, I’ve tried most of them and you really can’t go wrong. The vibe at Jack’s is relaxing and welcoming. It’s easy to book online. Are they the cheapest in the area? Certainly not, but you get what you pay for. Totally worth it.
