Outsiders is a barber shop for men, women, and children. They do short haircuts, along with beard trims and hot shaves. It has a warm, inviting, and cozy atmosphere. The barbers are friendly and professional. They'll even offer you a shot of bourbon with your haircut. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred.

Both of the gentlemen who've cut my hair have been amazing. Warm, inviting and cozy, the space and the people who work there feel homey and friendly but professional and efficient. I feel far more at ease there than most other places I have gone and with reasonable prices, good cuts and a friendly vibe, what's not to like?read more

This place is fantastic! I've been visiting for more than a year now. All the barbers are dedicated and thoughtful.Although just a tip for management: service used to be tip top, has been less great recently. I'm not always offered a drink. Maybe serve bourbon in a glass rather than in a shot glass? Or maybe have a couple of beers?read more

It is a bit pricey at $40 but if you ask me quality is worth every penny. My haircut came out great and the staff are friendly & make for great conversation. Great experience overall.

I've been living in NYC for over 8 years, I've tried many different barbershops, hair salons, and I have never had a haircut as good as the one I got at Outsiders. The service was top notch. The staff was warm and welcoming and the haircut was worth every penny. I'll definitely be returning.read more

I like the courteous staff and they take their time even when they are overbooked. I saw them cancelling appointments rather than rushing you out.

Been going to Outsiders for about a year now. Carlos who runs the shop is super friendly and both Joe and Duvall have done excellent jobs cutting my hair. $40 cash-only (plus tip) as of June 2021. You can call for an appointment (recommended) or walk-in. Enjoy!read more

Have had haircuts from Frank and Joe and both are exceptional. Great for conversation a s not feeling like they are trying to rush you through.They take time with their clients. Sometimes, this means that they will still be wrapping up with someone at your scheduled appointment time. Just roll with it and relax. They will not rush you through to try to catch up.It’s cash only, but there’s an ATM next door.read more

Outsiders is the best mens haircut in the area that I've found in 7 years. You get great service and results for a reasonable price. From what I can tell, it's cash only, so hit an ATM beforehand. Also, an appointment is a must, as their slots fill up quickly.read more

Love this spot! Duval is an artiste with impeccable attention to detail. Hot shave, good hang, solid tunes, and even a nice pour of bourbon. What else you want?

Outsiders barbershop is the spot to get a fresh fade or a perfect haircut. I highly recommend my partner loves coming here and he is specially likes the style of the cuts. Very friendly and clean atmosphere. Eric hooked me up with a skin fade-- my wife loves it. I'm in Brooklyn, visiting for a couple of months..if I lived here, Eric would be my go-to barber.
