Allow me to set the stage for a minute- I’m far from easily impressed and I set the bar pretty high when it comes to work, products, and services that I buy/use. I’ve tried 3 different salons and barbershops throughout Jersey over the past 2 months, and though the 3 were acclaimed to be the best in the business, they do not even begin to hold a candle to what Casey is able to pull off! There was a bit of concern with the allotted 30-minute time slot at first; thinking it probably wouldn’t be enough seeing how my usual cuts take between 40-45 minutes between washes and post cut styling. The time was more than amply utilized by Casey, however and it didn’t feel rushed at all. This was my first appointment with him, and he was more than patient during the initial consult. What struck me the most, was the fact that he instantly understood what I wanted, without really saying much at first. He is the first person to fully envision and thoroughly explain how each of my given options would pan out. Cutting my hair would’ve been a challenge for anyone given the thinning on the top that I’ve got going on. I’ve been getting my hair cut at a lot of alleged high end places throughout Europe, and the Middle East, and this is the first time I walk out of a barbershop completely satisfied as far as my North East hair cut experiences go within the last 3 Years. Casey is redefining the barbershop experience! My only caveat would be the long wait time regarding appointment scheduling with Casey (If they’re not booked in advance) given the heavy demand.read more

I don’t post reviews that often but in this case I had to. I needed a quick haircut and never came to this establishment before. My barber was Kidy, and it was a great choice! Noticing that I did not come to this barbershop regularly, she asked me informational questions and did not make any assumptions from length, to cut, to even the kind of gel that is to be used. Many other places would just assume and want to provide the fastest cut. Kidy took her time and made sure the cut came out how I expected. (*and a bonus to her attention to detail is this... my brother left his wallet at the shop, she noticed I came in with him and called us up to let us know)So, you if you are new to this barber, book with Kidy.read more

Been getting my haircuts done by Casey for almost 3 years now and I won’t use another barber. I used to live about 35-40 miles from Iconic and the trip was always worth it! Since moving to South NJ it takes me about an hour and a half each way but I won’t go anywhere else. That should tell you enough! Casey and all of the staff are cool people and easy to talk with. Seriously the best barbershop around. Casey has been cutting my hair for at least 5 years at this point and he’s a pro’s pro. The same can be said about the entire staff and really just the operation itself. Sometimes I forget I’m even getting a haircut because it’s such an enjoyable atmosphere. They make you feel like family in there and the job they all do is head and shoulders above the competition. I have had a beard for 10 years and during that time I have tried countless barbers to maintain it without any luck. After COVID the length just got to be too much and I thought it was the perfect time to try and find a new barber. I Googled the beast beard barber and 3 shops came up including Iconic. I tried the two other ones and had the same experience I’ve always had. Iconic was my last hope. I reviewed the barbers bios and their customer reviews. It was a hard choice to make, but I decided to check out their Instagram page where I found the beard cuts I liked the most and checked to see if the particular barber was tagged or listed. I found Kidy was the barber mentioned in all of the photos I liked. I can’t tell you how glad I am that I chose her. She is by far the best experience I’ve had at any hair place in 20+ years. She not only took the time to listen to me, but she paraphrased back to me what I said to make sure she understood what I wanted. She was able to hold a conversation while remaining focused and occasionally stopping to discuss options and my preferences. I can not say enough good things about her or the shop. I have never liked a haircut or beard trim instantly before and every time I passed a mirror afterwards I was so incredibly pleased with the job she did. If you’ve been searching for a barber, look no further. Yes, I won’t ignore the elephant in the room... the best beard barber I’ve ever experienced, is a young attractive woman. Edgar is a phenomenal, hardworking barber; he's obviously one of the LA GOATS. Sit in his chair, you won't regret it. I have had my haircut by so many people and I am super picky, so picking a barber that I'd return to for a second visit and beyond is not easy to find but he passed the test and I would recommend him to anybody in the area looking for a quick spruce up or a total style change. He's also super helpful and friendly when I asked a bunch of other questions unrelated to my haircut. He recommended a lot of nice places for me to check out in the area as I am not originally from here. When I sat in his chair you could feel his positive vibe, so I pretty much just told him to give me this hot new haircut that a lot of men have where it tapers in the back and shapes kind of like a mohawk and he did it for me and it looks super sweet. He definitely upped my style and upgraded me from a 7 to a solid 9. Will definitely return!!!read more

Honestly this is one of the best if not the best barber shops in Bergen county. Not only are they all so friendly but they are definitely top notch barbers as well. The owner Casey is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and is one of the most skilled barbers i have ever met. The best way to describe my haircut was Iconic.If you are ever in the area and need a great cut don’t bother even searching around this has to be your go to spot. Outstanding barbershop, I've been seeing Chris for the past 4 months, and he's been phenomenal. It's an hour plus drive from my house but it's absolutely worth it. Hands down the best experience I've ever had at a barbershop— the barbers are clean, professional, friendly, and most importantly excellent at their craft. Great place, very clean. Barbers are very good at what they do and I've never had an issue with making an appointment or having to wait. My only gripe is that I needed to clean up me beard for a meeting and paid $40 not counting the tip. It is what it is.read more

The owner, Casey has been cutting my son’s hair since he is 5 years old! He’s now almost 11 and I will not take him anywhere else. Casey takes pride in his work and his company. His entire team is so talented - If Casey wasn’t available I would book with anyone there. I’ve been in a rut before and have had to book else where… and paid the price of a bad cut for my son who has a lot of hair and really require someone who is properly trained, takes their time and does beautiful work… that’s exactly why I will only go to Iconic!! 10000000% recommend!read more
