Hairlines Barber Shop is owned by Paul who is a 3rd generation barber and has been in the business since 1986. Currently, Paul is the only Barber in the shop, but he has many years of experience. However, you should probably call for an appointment. A simple and personal experience.

Was looking for a local barbershop to get a haircut on short notice as a walk-in customer, and I found a gem! I tried 5+ barbershops/hair salons in the area over the past 5 years, and I FINALLY found a great place to get a quality haircut! I was traveling 40 min (one way) to get a haircut before I found Hairlines Barber Shop....Like most great finds, it is tucked away off of Main Street in downtown Flemington, diagonally across the street from a great restaurant in town too. I walked into his shop (on a Wednesday) and asked Paul if he would take a walk-in client...Paul was very gracious and said yes. I only waited for a few minutes since he was finishing up a clients haircut, and then he proceeded to give me a FANTASTIC haircut. Paul is a pro at his craft. He is a seasoned pro and has some GREAT pictures of celebrity clients that his family (dad and grandfather) cut hair for...I would HIGHLY recommend that you give Paul a try...His price is extremely reasonable for the quality cut you get in return. Glad I don't have to travel 40 minutes (one way) to get a haircut anymore!!read more

Paul is a good guy who gives a really great haircut! I tried several barbers in the area since moving back to NJ from living in Boston for ten years. Paul squeezed me in one morning, took one look at a picture I showed him and gave me the perfect haircut. He's professional, good with the clippers and scissors and gets you in and out quick. I highly recommend Paul!read more

Moved into Kingwood a year ago and could not find anybody that gave a great haircut, until I went to hairline Barber shop, WOW old time perfection, all I can say is unbelievable haircut. 6 star

I called for an appointment for a haircut and beard trim I was told Paul, who has done my hair since I started coming there shortly after they re opened, was off today, would I like another stylist, stylist not barber?, I said sure, why not. I got there on time and met my stylist,Angelina and her observer Kaylee pardon me if I got that name wrong. They were both young not too long out of cosmotology school. I was a little apprehensive at first, but that was soon dispelled by their great personalities as well as their professionalism. To make a long story short I enjoyed the experience tremendously, had a lot of fun, their mother was there too and added to the experience, and I got a great haircut and beard trim. If you want a great haircut at a reasonable price I would say give them a try you won't be sorry. Thanks again girls, you made my day. Jimread more

Needed an haircut for an event and waited until the last minute. Called Hairlines and was able to get in the same day. Paul is a Master Barber and did a Great Job. I've been married for almost 40 years. This was the first time I can remember that my wife ever complimented my haircut. Paul is a third-generation barber and has been cutting my hair since 2000. I have never had a reason to look elsewhere. Bottom line is that you get a great haircut at a fair price; you have good engaging conversation; he accommodates your schedule; and you are supporting a local small business. Paul has been cutting my hair for almost 20 years. He is the only one I let do my hair. Always does an amazing job. If I decide to switch up with a different cut Paul does it exactly how I want it. Such a nice guy and down to earth. Affordable as well. Stop in you won't be disappointed.read more

Convenient hours and easy to make an appointment. You can tell that Paul has years of experience. Second time here and he's already made adjustments and recommendations based on the way my hair grows. He's also very personable and I've enjoyed the conversations while getting a cut.read more

It's not easy to find a barber that gives a great men's haircut. Paul at Hairlines Barber Shop in Flemington gives me a great cut every time and he is very affordable. The barber profession is certainly in his blood as Paul is following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. I've tried a bunch of different places to get a decent haircut. Cheap places, very expensive places, but didn't find anywhere that really understood how to do a good men's haircut. I was in the neighborhood and needed a cut. I tried a walk in and Paul did one of the best haircuts I've had in years. At the end, Paul gave me his card...he's a Master Barber with 30 years experience and it shows. This is where i go now. I would recommend it if you're looking for the same.read more
