Slim killed it. In lower Manhattan alone, there are hundreds of these boutique-styled 'chop shops' and most charge an arm & leg for a mediocre 10-minute buzzer job. Refreshing to work with someone who gives you realistic recommendations based on your head shape/hair type - drawing from years of experience. HIRO,BEST HAIR CUT EVER!!! I mean it! As I have been so conservative and saving my hair knowing that for many men, losing hair comes with age... Always wanted longer hair like K-POP but never had the patience. This time, I did not care. I sat down on your stool at closing in which you "honored" (must schedule) requesting specifically for your service, direction and suggestion, and I said, "You are the master and do what you think or is best for my "look" i.e. shave it, cut it, trim it, tattoo it, etc. EPIC. As simple as that, everyone knew how good my hair looked, commented and asked what was the best part about visiting N.Y. and I said, MY HAIR CUT! Thanks again!!! Great fade and cut. They accept credit cards BUT you’re gonna need to bring cash to tip your barber. So bring cash.

Worth every penny! Prices are a bit higher than the average barber shop in the area, but if you take your haircut seriously then it's really priceless... I've gotten my hair cut by two different barbers here, and the precision is unmatched! The space is super clean and is in compliance with all social distancing measures. Would definitely reccomend.read more

I've been to many barbershops but Franks Chop Shop stands out from the rest. The place is clean, the haircuts are elaborate, but most importantly, the people are real. I had Sebastian cut my hair and he was amazing! He was extremely personable and professional. Gave me some great recommendations on how to style my hair and on some hair products I can use. He even used a hot towel which no other barber I’ve been too has done. You can tell the chop shop holds a great amount of respect for not only the place but also the customers. I recommend the chop shop for anyone looking for a haircut with top quality and a great experience!read more

Frank chop shop is a place to go for haircuts. Chill vibes and amazing cuts. The barber I went to was Sebastian Cheng, he cleaned me up good and it is only my second time getting a cut from him. Highly recommend him especially since he is an up and raising barber.read more

I’ve been coming to Frank’s for over 10 years. It’s hands down the coolest barber shop on the lower east side. Hiro, Tommy, and the rest of the crew are real artists. It ISN’T CHEAP!
