When I first came to Pitt freshman year, I would always just go to the nearest Great Clips or Supercuts or whatever. After getting butchered one too many times, a friend recommended Enrico... and as long as I live in Pittsburgh, I wouldn’t dare go to another barber. Best haircut place in Oakland! I've been to at least 5 barbers in Pittsburgh and Enrico is the best of them. The haircuts themselves are great. He takes pride in his work and really wants you to have a good experience. The atmosphere is SO relaxing. He regularly has jazz/classical music playing, the seating comes from old muscle cars, and the Italian artwork culminates to create a truly unique experience. Cash only. No walk ins, but he is normally very accommodating for appointments. Can't say enough about this place.read more

Went to Enrico's for a cut and trim merely days before my wedding. My now wife insisted I step up from the usual chain stores. I made an appointment and Enrico welcomed me when I showed up. Yes, it's a one man operation so you may have to wait longer than anticipated, but you do get his undivided attention when it's your turn. He did a great job. At the time, he only accepted cash, but his pricing was fair. I fully intend to return.read more

It was my first time getting a haircut from Enrico and I was more than impressed. He was extremely professional and very attentive with my cut, making my hair look exactly how I had hoped! Enrico is extremely professional, organized, welcoming and personable. I normally never speak with the barber but Enrico has a warm, inviting energy that makes conversation very relaxed and pleasant. He is meticulously organized and clearly has great pride in his work. I just moved to Pittsburgh and hoped I could find a nice place where I could become a regular, while I thought this would take a couple of tries I completely lucked out with Enrico's. Enrico is meticulous in every good sense of the word, his attention to detail in a cut is incredible and the quickness of it is incomparable. It is quite difficult to imagine that quick cut could be so good, but trust me when I tell you, Enrico somehow pulls it off.My favorite part of the visit was when he showed me his custom designed pair of scissors. Enricos is a great place. He is the only barber I have seen since my move to Pittsburgh. At the moment, he requires a mask when you're in the shop, and he only takes cash. He is very friendly, and can be talkative or quiet depending on your vibe. His prices change from time to time, so you should check out his website or give him a call, they're all pretty average though, not bad at all. I always leave with exactly what I wanted. Good haircuts here, it was my second time visiting and I was just as pleased as the first time that I came a couple months back. Enrico himself is great and accommodating, you could strike up a conversation or sit in silence and let the man work his art. Enrico’s is a great place to get cut up at! He’s very attentive to what you’re asking for and gives great suggestions of his own for how to improve your hairstyle. It’s a very laid-back and calm shop which I appreciate as well. Just make sure to schedule an appointment or call ahead if you’re planning on walking in. I didn’t do so and tried walking in on a busy day, so I ended up taking an appointment for the next morning. It speaks to the quality of his cuts though! I've cut my hair in so many places around the world and in Pittsburgh. For some reason a lot of barbers in Pittsburgh use clippers only which in my opinion are not good enough for a decent haircut. Enrico is a very friendly man who has been in business for ~20 years as of the time I visited him. He has a patent on a scissors-comb combo that he also sells in-store. He uses both clippers and his patented scissors to get the job done. Nothing mind-blowing for a 29$ haircut but overall a very good job and definitely better than ALL 4 other barbers I've tried in Pittsburgh. He's at a good location and gets plenty of customers so an appointment is required. Occasionally he would accept walk-ins if it's one of those rare occasions when it's not busy.read more

Enrico is easily the best hair cut I've ever had. I've bounced around barbers and hair stylists for years and no one ever seemed to be able to get it right. Once I found Enrico, I haven't gotten my hair cut by anyone else since. I got my hair done by him in April before I went home from the summer and recently got it cut by him once returning for school.
