I came from Dallas for a job interview and wanted to look sharp with a fresh NYC cut and fade. I picked one of the closest shops to LGA with a good rating. Sebastian was my barber, and was phenomenal. He spend at least 45 minutes on my hair to ensure it was a perfect fade, and the owner was super cool too. I decided to try out a new barber shop since my previous barber was lacking in quality and I never left satisfied. I made an appointment with Flako early in the morning and was immediately welcomed and seated. I showed him a picture of the haircut I wanted, and he went straight to work. This was my first experience, taking my non-verbal 5 year old son to the barbers alone and to a new Barber since we recently moved. I set up my appointment on the website, which was easy to maneuver and aesthetically pleasing. I’m so happy with the service, I couldn’t have picked a better place. Very nice atmosphere! I love everyone there ! It was my first time & unfortunately the hair cutt was not on point. I was already going through a crisis because the last barber from another shop pushed my hair line back. This time this guy just did not finish the job. When I finally got home I noticed he did not properly blend my fade. I had to do it myself & also even my hair out so it all fades together. Only leaving this review to make him even better. Amazing experience!After having had the worst haircut in my life in a barber shop in Forest hills. I've waited several months before looking for another.I came upon Corona Barbershop plus and texted them at 7:00 AM.I expected a reply later on in the day.I received a text within minutes.Warmly greeted Good morning via text. I actually had a consultation sending a current photo ( I looked like the man on the oatmeal box).I then texted a photo of myself from two Summers ago and the haircut that I've been trying to get again.After a few very pleasant questions and answers I was sent a photo of a haircut and I really like it.I was even given exact directions 10 minutes from my home.My appointment was with Fernando at 10:00 AM and he arrived a bit early. I walked in and was greeted with a warm friendly smile and fist bump 👊 .As we had our consultation the other employees started to arrive and every single one of them greeted me warmly.The place is immaculate and has a very positive vibe! I enjoyed the layout as well.As Fernando was cutting my hair, he would stop to ask me if I was comfortable with the direction he was taken. Deo( the owner) called me that morning of my appt to make sure that I would be receiving the right service. That was so dope! Then Alexis( the barber) was so on point with my cut, I was definitely treated like a Queen! Great place, great barbers and affordable price!
