Not your typical barber shop.....Definitely nothing like the franchises. Friendly and welcoming staff, great haircuts, perfect price. The owner and his staff are very professional. You can’t go wrong with either location. I do recommend making an appointment. That’s a clear sign of how good and busy they are. A+++read more

I was in a RUSH, in 95 degree weather literally RUNNING on little time from the new Gay St location to the High St location. When I got there, Lydia was understanding of my being late. She did a spectacular job on my haircut and fast. And I could barely put into words what I wanted done to m hair but she worked with it anyway and DELIVERED. Friendly staff, clean work environment, and professional. I highly recommend it, and there is nothing I would change about my visit.read more

It was like finding a needle in a haystack. Top notch experience from the moment we entered through their doors. Greeted with a smile, left with an amazing service. Got to meet the owner Miguel which was neat. You can tell he loves what he does and must dedicated a lot of time to his business. Smooth operation. Even has a school on premises where he educates future barbers and they offer discounted haircuts. Check them out! It's not everyday you will run into a business like Champions.read more

I work in mental health we have our special needs kids come here for a ( community integration) once a month in there school area. The staff are amazing and helps teach the school students how to cut diffrent personalities. Also helps integrate our kids into a type of normality. Good place.read more

They are good at doing white people’s hair, don’t get me wrong, but the woman who did my hair completely botched it. I think she probably doesn’t do many black guys’ hair because she didn’t know how to properly fade it and at the end, I had more hair on one side than I did on the other side. I didn’t notice until I left the shop, but a good barber already knows to leave a client looking sharp. Now I have to find another barber, and hopefully they can get it right.read more

Miguel (owner) has become a role model for other small businesses in the West Chester borough. Him and his team have created a culture that welcomes anyone and everyone. At Champions, it's different. Every Winter I grow a Beard. Come Spring it's time for a SHAVE. Idaliz was all over it. Punctual, professional & in & out. Furthermore her SENSE OF HUMOR & Knowledge was refreshing in someone so Young. Nonetheless, it wasn't ALL ROSES. Her lack of Information on 70s Musical Sitcoms, specifically The Partridge Family & their mode of Transportation, the BUS was disappointing. I do believe there's HOPE for her however 🙏read more

Champions was the best with providing a great side shave for my child. Emily was patient with her, and talked about other styles she could pull off with a side shave. Emily styled her hair to accentuate the side shave and it looked great! We were all so thrilled with the new look Emily created.Champions is a busy place, and the staff are fun to be with, while you're there. They listen to their clients and outperform the expectations.The side shave was a step out of a comfort zone with appearance, but Champions made it all worthwhile. This place is great. Very well priced and they do an amazing job. Used to go to chain type shops where you are in and out in 10 minutes. Here, for basically the same price, they take their time and make sure everything is perfect. Was blown away by the amount of time and effort that was put into my hair cut for such a great price. Best hair cut I have got in my life. The name of my stylist was Esther and she did an amazing job so if you are making an appointment I would highly recommend her!read more

Great staff, at both sides of the house. Bonus, you get a great cut for half of what you'll pay, even at the cheap chain shops, while giving the next generation of barbers valuable experience! The instructor is very hands-on to give guidance and encouragement to the students.read more

I rarely write reviews, but this one HAD to be done. Champions Premier Barber Shops are the GOAT of barber shops in and around West Chester. Case closed. End of story. I've been going to Champions for nearly a decade, and the quality of cut and service is second to none. In fact, I'd argue that every other barber shop in town is like the 4 other dudes from 'Nysnc not named Justin Timberlake. Remember them? Yea, me neither.I got my start with Edwin. His skin fades are as automatic as the "Tush Push," / "Brotherly Shove." But it's not just him. Their roster is DEEP: Emily, Kristina, Josue / Sway in the morning, Paris, Evan, they're all alpha team killers. Speakin' of Evan, don't let the baby face fool ya... he knows his way around a clipper!! The barber shop roster at Champions is much like the '92 Dream Team... minus of course, Christian Laettner and Chris Mullins. Those guys sucked. But I digress.They say you should never trust a skinny chef. Perhaps the same could said of a bald barber.... unless of course his name is MIGUEL. If so, trust him with your hair, life, 401K, and first born son.read more
