I’ve finally found a barber close enough to home for my son. I’ve had a hard time finding a great barber that’s great with kids and gives him what we are looking for. So I was traveling to NJ every 3 weeks for haircuts. I found Butter’s barbershop online after reading the reviews I decided to give it a shot. I was pleased with Michael he did exactly what I asked him to do to the T. My son wanted lines, I told him to be creative and that he did. My son was so happy and excited with his haircut. He received so many compliments at school. So I can finally say no more driving 2 hours for a haircut. We found our Barber family. Highly recommend, everyone was so great, and welcoming.read more

I needed a haircut and everyone was closed on a Saturday evening. I called Butter's and they said to come down. I got there and all the guys were very welcoming. It was my first trip and will definently be going back. Andrew had me come over to his chair and he listened to exactly what I wanted!! He did an amazing job on my hair and goatee and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely be coming back to visit Andrew!!!! The service and atmosphere was great!! I went in there thinking I wasn’t going to like this barber shop in the area but when they started to cut my hair I was amazed. They can even do dreadlocks too. How amazing is that!! This Will be the barber shop we continue to go to. The unique decor and entertainment while you wait was amazing. The accommodations for children and lots of seating was a major plus. So many options with the atm, vending machines and great location. All extras. But what I loved the most was my sons hair cut. Everyone who seen it loved it and of course we did. Butter the barber and owner phoneminal!! Its been hard with my hours to get his hair cut and he was so understanding and made the time for us. Just amazing I wish there was a 10 star option. My sons had the semi dance to attend. I took them to the barbershop we normally go to, but they was closed. The best barbers in the area are cutting hair here. When you go, make sure you ask for Tyke or Samir. You can garuntee that you will have the best full service haircut you've ever had in your life. Not to mention the comedic banter that comes free of charge. I've been going to see those two for years. Every time I get my hair cut, the compliments come flying my way. I’ve had my boys hair cut here a couple times and got good service. Today I waited quite a bit, while various barbers refused to cut my boys, walked out or just chilled in the back. One of the gentlemen was very attentive and apologetic about the poor service. Once this gentleman said something to the others they argued in patois about not cutting, once this occurred another gentleman offered to cut my boys hair. I refused to give my money to someone that didn’t want it. Now here 3 hours later only one of my children got a haircut and had to schedule a cut for my other son for tomorrow. Not sure who the owner is but this experience was not good. I was given names but choose not to disclose, just need better handle on the employees and how they service clients. Thanks to the gentleman that was attentive and apologetic, I will happily come see you to cut my boys hair.read more

It’s rare to see so many sharp barbers in one shop. My barber, T, one of the best. He’s sharp, fast, and offers light conversation as should every barber when servicing a new client. “Tall man” was recommended to me from a neighbor of mine, so obviously he’s good. Atmosphere was okay but my haircut was a compete joke 🗑 🚮. I explained everything I wanted wide beard and a skin fade. I was given a number 2 on the side with practically my entire beard missing . I spent time growing my beard and now it's almost gone.Who trims eyebrows without asking?What a shame someone should be accountable for this mess.In no way I'm preventing anyone from making a living. I'm just being honest we're all equal but everything was explained on my part. My haircut lasted 15 mins. She was on her phone more. I was charged 35. And still gave tip.read more

Haven't had a cut yet, but I have experience that is a wholesome to me. A man walks in and asked where is a shortcut to arrive at a hospital in Dickson City so he could see his grandmother, and they offered him money so he could go to the train station. Instead, a wonderful lady orders him a Lyft. They made him feel welcome and offered to help. Lots of laughter, and enjoyment here. Lots of good energy, and vibes as well.read more

I always go to Angel; it’s not that I don’t like anyone it’s just he seems more friendly and good with my toddlers. Very gentle and understands that kids move and get impatient I guess cause he has his own little ones. Either way I have gone to another person before angel and he did my first cut horrible. I cried for days after and when I went back angel fix it to the best hat he could and haven’t disappointed me since.read more

July 13, 2023 at 1:53 pmthe guy who cut my boyfriends hair had no clue what he was doing, very jittery probably on drugs. messed it all the way up, took a big chunk out of the back where it was supposed to be long. the sides are way shorter than the back, the line up in the front was not even in the slightest bit even then he tried to charge $30 for it. y’all are trashhhhh don’t go here unless you wanna leave real angry.
