We take our special needs son here and it is a wonderful place. We were recommended by other parents from the Long Island special education network. We drive 35 minutes just to come here. This is the only place our son will go and get a haircut. A very cool haircut. Rafael is patient, kind and talented.read more

I had an amazing experience at The Speakeasy Barber, The Owner Rafael and the barbers were friendly and accommodating. They offered me a water or a beer. They welcome walk-ins ONLY. GREAT MUSIC GOOD VIBES. Rafael was my barber, he knocked it out of the park! Amazing, well put together and sharp. He was friendly and thorough, making sure he fully understood what I was looking for in a cut. He made me comfortable in his chair and confident in his ability to provide amazing service. A well put together barbershop. Rafael been a barber since age 12. Rafael is a Artist. A family business that goes way back. I recommend everyone.read more

I highly recommend them. If you wonder where a few of the "back in the day" mad men barbers went, you found them. Nice place, good atmosphere, good people working a great cut at a fair price. Nicole has been hooking me up for years with a good tight cut. Parking is a pain, but what can ya do.read more

First off, when you walk in you’re gonna be very impressed with the aesthetics and layout of this barber. Secondly, you’ll notice very clean and friendly staff. Lastly, and most important is their super skillful and professional staff. Granted, I haven’t got a haircut there, just beard trims and shaves, but you can tell they know what they’re doing.read more

Great, clean place! We were mostly impressed with how quickly we were taken care of. They took us right away and were so quick. We were tired of going to a place and wasting 2 hours every time we went! Prices here a very reasonable! Everyone was friendly. The only thing my 7 year old complained about was that he felt uncomfortable being there. The gentlemen cutting his hair made no conversation with him to make him feel comfortable. He felt uncomfortable and embarrassed. The barber didnt attempt to make a connection with the poor kid or make him feel comfortable at all, so that was disappointing.read more

The shop is always upbeat, relaxing environment, and Nikki has always done great work for the many years she has been cutting my hair and my 3 boys 2-7-10 years old! My son is 5 and hasn't been able to sit at a barber and get his hair buzzed without throwing a fit. Even at the little kiddie barber shops.This is now his second time getting a haircut here, and he's been fine. Prices are fair, the barbers are friendly, professional, funny AND give good haircuts!! EDIT: They’ve recently raised their prices to $23 for a regular men’s cut.This is the place I had been waiting for. Awesome, no-nonsense cuts for a reasonable price. Period.

All the people that work here are great and highly skilled and when you pair this with the short wait time and fair prices you get the best haircut on Long Island, highly recommend 💪🏻🥇

My husband gets his hair cut and beard trim by Nicole. She is amazing, super nice, and cool to talk to. Prices are great. The whole vibe of the shop is awesome. Definitely recommend it to anyone.
