Steel District Barbershop is a classic barbershop with a modern touch right in the heart of historic Bethlehem, Pa. It's easy to book an appointment so you can get in and out with a great experience. However, you won't mind a little wait because they have a really cool bar area, and will offer you bottle of water or a craft beers on tap. Appointment recommended, but will accommodate walk-ins.

Fantastic business. The first and only place I have found that I can trust to take care of both my hair AND my beard. They do such a good job with my beard that I don't even attept to trim it myself anymore because it pales in comparison to what they can do. Easy scheduling through their website, free beer on tap (which they are not stingy about offering), nice bathroom, excellent hot towel service. They sell their own beard oil, too. Having tried other oils and such in the past, I can say it's great stuff.read more

Visited this establishment for the first time. Kasper took care of me and although he is still an apprentice he did a fantastic job. All the staff there made me feel comfortable as a newbie. It's a newly established store, the guys did most of the work of renovating the place themselves. Very tastefully done. Very comfortable, clean but not antiseptic and stinking of product. Worth the trip!read more

Best barbershop in the Valley. Become a regular and you’ll be treated to extra free beers and some great whiskey and scotch. I drive from Philadelphia to get a pristine cut and to enjoy the amazing atmosphere.read more

It’s nice to be able to set appointments for the time you want with the barber you want and have them remember how you want your hair cut, and do to a great job with it... Its a pretty simple luxury. They’re not cheap, but you get what you pay for.read more

Cool shop, super convenient to be able to book haircuts in advance and not have to wait. The online scheduling works well, very smooth. Been getting my haircut by Pawel from the start and have stuck with him ever since. He does an awesome job.read more

These gentlemen are the real deal. Professionally they are extraordinarily competent. Posessing seriously awesome customer care and personally dedicated to supporting local Bethlehem businesses. It's been a real treat to be a customer since they have opened. Best haircut ever and before covid (and after) great beard care. Keep in mind walking in for a cut isn't going to happen!!! Make an appointment online with any of the 3 of them and you shouldn't be disappointed. This review is long overdue and they deserve each and every one of the 5 stars.read more

The best barber in the area!! I travel from the Poconos to go to Mike and the boys to get a cut. Mike’s been cutting my hair for years and prior to when the shop in Bethlehem opened up, but I wouldn’t go anywhere else and don’t mind driving 45 mins to get a cut!read more

Started going to Mike about 5 years ago. Through the pandemic and work it was hard to get the time to get there. Finally made it back and was instantly reminded how much I missed going there. By far the best barber I've ever gone too . Oh how my head missed his skill set.read more

Went to this shop after trying multiple spots in the ABE area, and this will be my forever shop. Pawel did such an amazing job. I wanted a total change with my hair and he totally nailed it. Best barbershop in the Lehigh Valley. Pawel, Mike, and Kacper are excellent. They take a lot of pride in their work and do everything from trims and styling to hot towel straight razor shaves and more. There's nothing they can't handle, which means you leave looking fresh and feeling great everytime. The shop's atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, showcasing a rugged decor, similar to a Steampunk feel that fits in perfectly with the history of Bethlehem, PA. Old Western influences such as dark wood accents with wooden floor, leather couch and a bar where they have complimentary beer on tap make the experience exceptionally enjoyable. And as expected, the stereotypical "barbershop banter" and the community/friendly feel inside never ever disappoint. Legendary Barbershop. The G.O.A.T.. you can’t go wrong with a single person here. They all do such an awesome job. Complimentary pour if you get a haircut. This is like a barbershop from the 40’s. It’s done right with timeless classic vibes. Real professionals. There’s a reason it’s 5 star.My advice, if you want to start coming here…. You need to go online and make an appointment. Schedule more than one and space them out cause these guys are so popular, sometimes it gets backed up. There’s a reason and that’s cause they give the best cuts. Nowhere else comes close.read more
