At Sharkey's Barbershop the look and feel will remind you of simpler times. It's a place for gentlemen. This old timey barber shop has a vintage atmosphere, where you can get a haircut or shave and converse with your barber. They even added a bar area, so you can get a shot or drink while you wait.

Head barber Joe Starling is phenomenal at his trade. Not only will the flair of Sharkey's take you back in time with its 1940s feel and traditional barber decor, you will leave a very dapper man.

Joe was very considerate, no wait. Did not charge a lot removing my beard and hair shape up. I guess I got his senior discount. Parked in front of his shop, no problem. After my visit, left my car there and walked to the waterfront, very pleasant and invigorating. If you visit his shop, make sure to ask about parking.read more

My husband took our two year old in after our last attempt at a hair cut was botched (by a barber who didn’t listen to what we wanted at another place)- my sons hair was done by the apprentice who my husband said was great. When I saw my son I almost cried, his hair was PERFECT. Exactly what I wanted!!! We will continue taking our son here for his cuts and I’ve recommended sharkeys to several other friends as well!! I can’t believe a kids cut is only $10 either! If you have a little boy bring him here! They won’t steer you wrong!!!read more

I went in with a friend who was getting his hair cut and a shave clean up. It is a very nice, clean, well kept and well maintained shop. All the barbers and hair cutters are very friendly, approachable and curious. It is a very nice neighborhood barber shop that reminds you of the shops of the old days. They do all types of hair cuts and the dying art of a hot shave. I would recommend them to anybody and everybody!read more

Love getting my haircut here. Everybody is great but Joe the Barber is my go to. Never got more compliments on my haircut then when i started going here. Great conversation as well. Plus its never crowded and their appointment system is super easy to use. Added bonus is mill street is cool to walk around after you get a cut.read more
