I was visiting Philadelphia from DC. I needed a haircut and this place was open past 6pm. The barber (Bobbito, I think) was attentive and professional. I got a dope haircut and they recommended the sponge brush. Best thing to happen to my hair.read more

I’ve followed this shop from South St to its current location. My barber and shop owner Rob always provides excellent service and a great haircut. Shop is clean and well lit. I’d recommend having a haircut here to anyone.read more

My grandfather name is Mr. Joe L .Hicks he was a faithful regular at this shop when it was on 15th and South Street. I remember Junior and a guy named Mr.Johnson who were barbers there when I was a kid. There was also a lady named Diane who used to clean my grandfathers nails. I wonder what happened to the people from that shop. I think of that place when i watch barbershop the movie.read more

The barbers there are great especially the owner. The shop is always clean and it's a very respectful business. There is no cussing, standing around inside or in front of the door and there's always lively conversation and you can catch some jazz playing in the background.
