needed a quick clean up on my eyebrows. I made an appointment online, and the price was fairly reasonable. I was the first one there as my appointment coincided with their opening. It took a minute to get my appointment as they were prepping when I arrived. It was quick once I was seen. The stylist was very nice and talkative. I would return for a small job but have no opinion of their haircuts. The lounge area is small, but it is comfortable. There is a coffee machine as well as other beverages (I think they have beer). I did not indulge in any of them, but it is a nice amenity.read more

I go to the I'm Sergio in conshohocken a lot and sometimes the one in center city and normally it is an amazing job. But today I had a really disappointing haircut and I could tell the hairdresser was trying to rush it as fast as possible, the quality and service was affected, and did not live up to the other haircuts I had there.read more

I was in Philly on business and needed a haircut, and nearby I’m Sergio had good ratings as did their stylist Morgan. So I made an appointment with her. I explained to Morgan exactly the cut I wanted (close on the sides with a fade) and she gave me exactly what I asked for. One of the best haircuts I’ve had. She was attentive to specific details and very pleasant to talk to. I wish she was my regular stylist. I highly recommend Morgan.read more

Haircuts aren't too bad, but sometimes the staff's attitude is sometimes very unwelcoming. If you're paying $50 for a wash and cut, you shouldn't feel like you're a burden/getting a favor.

You can get a haircut anywhere; I'm Sergio is about the experience. Beer, hot towel, good conversation... It's really more than just a haircut. I went here for a year and had a great hair stylist but she left after having a baby when they either did some sort of house cleaning or a bunch of people quit (I noticed from their website half the people were gone). The website is useful for appointments and it's nice to know all the prices upfront but it comes off a little like a catalogue of barber babes with a focus on looks and their hobbies and hair philosophies with an occasional mention of their actual styling experience. In person the stylists vamp it up and lay on the charm for their all-male clientele. The free beer (or soda) and hot face towels while getting a massaging shampoo are all nice touches. The prices are OK for CC but there isn't a set receptionist so if your not their client, the other girls just let you stand there akwardly waiting for your stylist to spot you. After my stylist was gone I didn't bother to find a new "hair babe" from the website. I found a cheaper place closer to my home with fewer gimmicks.read more

My Mother in law needed to shave her head because she had lost so much due to her treatments for her health. Her hair was very patchy and it made her very sad. Mark of Mark Daniel Barbershop has become her hero! My fiancé took her here because he comes here for a great shave and knew he was the one who had to take care of her. He made her feel very special and told her she looked beautiful and he admired her... She is still talking about the experience and we cannot thank Mark enough for making her forget about why she was cutting it all off and simply celebrating her strength! This is a great barbershop with some awesome people in there. I only have experience with Anna cutting my hair but I can say for certain she knows what she is doing. The haircut is good and it's always a fun conversation.Also, don't forget the touch ups and beard trim. The best part is the safety razor nice smooth trim of the backside at the end. It's one of the nice added touches in addition to the hot towel and hair wash that this place provides.I will say it is a bit pricier than a regular hair salon but you are paying for an actual barber and you are paying for quality. For the quality, the price is definitely worth it.read more

My boss recommended I’m Sergio to me back in 2016 and I’ve recommended it to mostly every guy who has hair. As I type this I have a buzz cut that I could easily do myself but I still go because I’ve never left with a bad haircut (I saw Natalie when I lived in Conshy and I see Stephanie in Philly. Both are awesome), it’s a relaxing environment, they offer you a cold beer/water, everyone is very nice, and again I’ve never left with a bad haircut. I struggled to find a high quality men's haircut since I moved to Philly, and I'm so happy I finally found I'm Sergio (after trying several others that were just blah). I'm Sergio - and especially Stephanie - is awesome. They are so friendly, flexible, and do a great job all around. I haven't been in during Covid (because I have a newborn at home and have been very isolated), but I will definitely be back once vaccines ramp up. I routinely get my hair cut by Rachel. She does an amazing job, always remembers what I need done, and is really easy going. You get a thorough shampoo, cut and straight razor shave all for $35. Definitely the best spot in the city.read more

This place rocks! Went in with an overgrown and overdue cut that had been mangled by a previous barber, and Devin cleaned it up and had me like looking sharp again with no issues our first time meeting. I had a great first experience at I'm Sergio. I went in for a cut but got so much more. I was greeted by being offered a beer (not cheap beer, real beer), then a wash a condition with a really soothing hot towel. Rachel was my stylist today and was fantastic. She worked with me to figure out exactly what I wanted and then she delivered. The space is mid re-model right now, and will look really amazing when it's done. 10/10 will revisit.read more

I have been going to this spot since it opened, and it's a great experience! On my last trip it got even better and I realized I owed them a 5-star review.I started here because I followed my barber, Rachel, from the previous haircut spot that closed down (called American Male). She does great work, and I've requested Rachel exclusively for years now.The current I'm Sergio location downtown has continued to improve in big and small ways since it opened. There were small improvements like adding cupholders to the stations, so you'd have somewhere to put your drink during your cut. Recently, they made a larger improvement of remodeling the reception desk into more of a bar design, AND they took the opportunity to really upgrade their beer offerings. YES, a big plus for me is that you get a "free" beer before/during your cut! With the addition of Victory IPA (on draft) and Golden Monkey, they finally have some exciting beer to offer. Yay!The biggest wildcard is the shampoo and head massage experience, which can vary based on who is running that (it's a separate person from the person who cuts your hair). That experience can range from just plain pleasant and quick, to absolutely glorious if you get so lucky as to have someone who will do a full head massage while you have a hot towel on your face and conditioner soaking into your hair.Appointments are ALWAYS right on time, I doubt I've ever had to wait more than 5 mins at most and if I do it's with a beer so I'm happy for the time.They do an optional (but free) straight-edge razor shave of your neck at the end, which is both very professional and a great shave.It can feel a tad pricey for me to go here, but for what you get (beer, shampoo, head massage, great haircut, choice of product in hair, straight razor neck shave) it's very good value and I never ever have to work about getting a bad cut.read more

This was my first time at this Salon and initially I was taken back by the price. However after my visit, I can see that it was worth every penny. My hairdresser did my hair well and was friendly to strike small talk. In addition, I was offered something to drink which wasn’t something I expected coming in but I appreciated the gesture. I have been going to this shop for a few years now and I have to say that my expectations were immediately exceeded from the first time I got my haircut here. I hadn't chosen a specific barber when I first showed up and was so lucky to get Devin as my barber. The rest.... IS HISTORY lol. It is always so easy to book an appointment with Devin, I have never had a difficult time finding an appointment that works for me. She kills it every time she cuts my hair, even when I show up with a picture of my face photoshopped onto a picture of the haircut/style I want LOL. Outside of the haircut I can almost guarantee you that she will have you laughing/chatting the whole appointment - she really just is THE BEST!read more

And conveniently located in the center city business district for a quick post-work visit. Im Sergio is always a great experience! I've been getting my hair cut by Karla for a while now, and I honestly can't recommend enough. Karla always gets it spot on, she pays close attention to detail and is very professional. I always leave feeling confident and refreshed.
