Great place for a good fade. My personal favorite is Rome and I’ve been going to him for about a year now. This place might be a dollar or two more than your average barber however they also put that extra minute in there to make sure everything is is done. I started going just me but as they also take kids I’m now bringing my 5yo old and we can both get our hair done at the same time and he looks really good to! Mainly been getting my cuts from Rome and he’s awesome and when he’s not been available and I’ve had to go with any of the other barbers they’re pretty good as well....read more

I brought my 15 year old brother in for his first haircut in a year and a half. The barber helped us choose a haircut and spent an hour perfecting his hair. I’ve been going to Original Sharp for the last few months since barbershops opened back up. I work in NYC, and that’s where I’d usually get my haircut, but I haven’t been back since March due to Covid.Hands down, best haircuts I’ve ever gotten in my life. I’ve had good haircuts, but nothing this good. I’d always have an idea of what I want, and someone would get it close. But Original Sharp are so good. I was looking around for a new barber and stumbled upon Original Sharp. This is definitely going to be my go to spot for cutting my hair. My barber's name was Lou. He was a really nice guy and definitely took care of me. My hair is pretty hard to cut because of how my hair spiral pattern or something. I do not know if this is true but that was what many of my barbers in the past told me. Lou cut it easily and didn't even mention any difficulties. I wish i took a picture of myself when Lou cut my hair to show for the review. I really love the fact that his fade is super clean when he showed me my cut with the mirror to see if everything was cut good or needed adjustments.read more

I've been a customer at this shop for a couple of years now and their services have never disappointed me. For every visit I've been going to Lou for haircuts and he's always very detail oriented and I've always been more than satisfied with my haircuts. The place is super nice and clean and hold a high standard for barbering. All of the barbers are high standard, well trained, well equipped and make it an enjoyment and experience to be in the shop. They really know what they are doing. Pros for doing any kind of haircut, just ask what you want.The reason why I gave a 4 star instead of a 5 star review is because I didn't get the full experience with the blade shape up and hot towel due to the current covid situation and I paid for a regular full haircut service.So I'll update my review when I get the full service after covid.Nevertheless, I got a nice detailed haircut.read more

This barbershop is one of a kind. They literally have everything that every gentleman or child wants/needs when it comes to getting a haircut. All the barbers are professionals, well experienced, and well-equipped when using scissors, clippers, and razor blades. Whether you want to come in for a skin fade, brook, design, shape-up, or even a timeless traditional 1/4 part haircut ... like make-up, they got it all covered. Each and every barber that works there excels in their craft. So getting a haircut from any one them will not disappoint as long as you let them know exactly what look you are trying to go for. One particular barber, Angelo, is someone who has been my go-to barber for a few years now. He is someone who takes pride and shows passion in his craft. He won't be satisfied until you, the client, is satisfied. So you will definitely feel a barber/client vibe when you get a haircut from him and never experience the feeling of being just "another client." Overall, they're all kind, courteous, and do exceptional work. Original Sharp is a great barbershop, aesthetically it's very pleasing. However, the barbers are what really make this barbershop stand out from any I've ever been to. Angelo is a phenomenal barber, he is both personable and respectable. For close to a decade, I've been seeing the same barber for all my haircuts. The problem is, driving close to an hour and in traffic for a haircut will eventually take a toll on you. I could've at any time looked for a local barber shop, but it wouldn't be the same. But I knew it was time for a change. A friend of mine who always had "precision fades" and that "perfectly crafted" hair cut, told me about the barber shop he went to, which turned out to be local to me, and the barber who had been cutting his hair. The barber that he had been going to for his hair cuts was Angelo. So I gave him and the barber shop a shot. Angelo was able to cut/style my hair to my liking in addition, add some suggestions to give my hair some added sophistication. The craft is obviously there and the amount of pride he takes in his work definitely shows. I will continue to get my hair cuts from ORIGINAL SHARP. The reason not just for the ability to cut my hair with finesse but in addition to checking all the boxes I was looking for in a barber and in a barber shop. Angelo was very kind, professional and courteous. I was also looking for cleanliness of the chair area and of the barber shop, as I'm sure we are all looking for that, especially during this time. This barber shop did deliver my needs. I would recommend this place, especially if you are looking for a barber shop that serves their clients in a clean, timely, and professional manner, while leaving the barber shop with a "brand new me" type of look.read more

Today was my first time going to OG Sharp, first impression was great visually, as soon as you walk in and look around you can feel the good vibes and can tell you will leave with a quality cut. Chairs are really comfortable compared to most places I've been and you can tell the equipment used are of good quality, no scratchy feeling while getting your haircut and feels very smooth. I made an appointment with Drew whom I highly recommend, he is a very cool, professional, personable person who definitely knows what he is doing. He makes sure your cut is going the way you want it and you can clearly tell he has experience, he literally looked at the picture i wanted my hair to be based on for 2 secs and made it exactly how i wanted with ease. I left happy and confident in my haircut as i said goodbye to covid hair. 5/5 for me and i will def be going there from now on. I highly recommend this shop , you wont be disappointed.read more

This place is legit. I'm always a bit hesitant about trying new shops. I walked in not knowing what I'd get. I walked out feeling like I got the best cut of my life. Never had a barber so precise. As someone who has NO idea whatsoever what to do with my hair and generally just picks any barbershop, this is probably the best haircut I’ve gotten. Daniel talked with me about what would look good with my face shape and the best cut for how my hair was length wise and the way it would grow in later. Never had that before. He is super knowledgeable and attentive, and you can feel comfortable sitting in his chair that you’ll get a good cut. Might stop hopping from place to place and just make this my spot. I’ll get it out of the way and say that yes, this barber shop is more expensive than most. With that being said, I’ll gladly say it’s WELL-WORTH it!This is a group of great barbers who seem to seriously take pride in their work. I've been coming here for almost 3 years now and these guys are all well trained in what they do, turning a man from mess to levels of handsome all through their clipper/scissor/blade work. I had a real terrible cut last month at another shop in Central Jersey, so I decided to come back to this one to get it fixed after growing it out. I made a last minute appointment with whoever was available and the booking paired me with Sam. Although I was his last appointment of the day, he was friendly and took his time with making sure I got what I wanted. He did an amazing job with my haircut making sure the fade was just right and that I was satisfied with the length.Everyone has a certain style and technique of cutting hair, but I am just lucky and blessed that it worked out with Sam.read more

I'm not a regular at this place, but I do kind of wish I was. I came in with my buddy, both of us from out of town, to get our hair cuts the day of my wedding, and truly loved the experience. Everyone was friendly, the big comfy couches you waited in were really nice, and our barbers were extremely careful and professional. Speaking of nice, everyone that came in, from ages 8 to 68 were welcomed by the whole staff, and were treated as regulars. I truly felt like Norm in Cheers while there. Most importantly the haircut (and especially the beard trim- ask for the hot towel!) looked incredibly good, and I felt uber confident going into the wedding.read more

These guys are awesome. I go to Brian, who gives me the best haircut I’ve ever had, and is super friendly as well. He also cuts my 6 year old’s hair and Brian just has a great way with kids. But the other barbers here are also great, I see a lot of other people bringing their boys in for a haircut and everyone is always very chill. We have finally found a barber that can successfully cut all my boys' different hairstyles well! My 3 boys have 3 different hair textures, so it has been hard finding a barber to service all 3 well, but Original Sharp is the place! My oldest, who is 18, gets a cut for his course, curly hair and a shave each time we go, and Angelo always has him leaving looking *fresh*. My 11-yr old has wavy hair that would look a mess when we walk in, but by the time his haircut is done, he is a total dreamboat! My youngest son has poker straight hair and gets the coolest asymmetrical style that has become his signature look. Although they are expensive, there is value in the quality of their work...so we won't be going anywhere else. Another fantastic experience at Original Sharp in Millburn. I normally get a buzz cut which is relatively straight forward. My Barber, Nick of course did the buzz, but the trimming takes time and expertise which most barbershops do not spend the time on. Walked out with a clean buzz with amazing detail. I have been going to Alex at Original Sharp for several years. Needless to say I am quite happy. Near the end he seems to study each strand before deciding whether or not it shout be cut, and for the weeks following it remains looking good. The shop has a following of a young generation of men with beards and various hair styles, but they deal very well with with kids and older codgers like myself. Thumbs up!read more

Three out of five because I've had four good haircuts there and one not so good. It's a pricey place that basically churns out fades and dad cuts, nothing crazy, but it's in Millburn, so $$$$. Mostly good barbers here, find one you like and stick to him. The dude today barely looked at my photo and gave me a taper that didn't taper. :) Had to fix it at home. Previous four cuts were either good or really good, so I'll probably be back.read more

Always get my amazing cuts from Wes! He’s a 10/10 with 10/10 skills! Wes remembers me everytime even though I don’t get hair cuts consistently. He knows how to shape the hair and is very informative about his process. Very detail oriented and really caters to the look you want and what best fits. Original Sharp invited me with open arms and made me feel really safe in a barber setting even though I’m a woman. I have never gotten a bad haircut. As a matter of fact they insist on a full grooming: eye brows, ears, nose. And that warm towel with a hint of lavender is spectacular. All in all a great experience. Every barber there is world class.read more
