This was my first visit to this location. I have been to the one in sellersville. They are both a very nice and clean shop. I got my hair cut and beard shaped. Excellent service and amazing prices! I was pleasantly surprised by the courteous, skilled, and professional service I received. My barber was Jake and I plan to ask for him in the future as well. The pricing was even more surprising than the quality - very competitive to local economy chain stores. I plan to make this my go-to shop from now on. Don't forget a reservation - they are required, but easy to make online or on the phone. They have helpful text alerts that give you details of your appointment and a head's up before your appointment date. And yes - the cut itself was great!read more

I havent been to a true barber shop since i was a child. I instantly was happy with my decision to give this place a chance. The barbers are friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is awesome. They are heavily involved in the community and display it proudly as they should. I'm not much of a drinker but they offer a free beer while you wait and not the cheap miller lite stuff. Its quality micro brews from the area. I have yet to be disappointed with a cut i have recieved here.read more

Karl at the Souderton location does great work! I shave my own head since I have been balding since my early twenties so I have no need for a barber up until recently. I have been working on growing a beard over the last few months. It had become somewhat unruly and "shrubby" as I was allowing it to grow. One visit to Karl and I look like a new man! If your looking for a place to get a slamming haircut, get your beard tightened up, or simply get a trim, Modern Male of Souderton is the place to go.I’ve been coming here for years and have NEVER had a bad cut or walked out the door disappointed. Even when my primary barber may be out on vaca, any other barber is able to do my cut without issues and that’s not common.Another great aspect to Modern Male is the ability to schedule your appointments days, weeks, even months out so you know the day you show up your in and out in 30 minutes or less.The crew here is awesome and after enough visits, become more like friends which adds to the already chill and laid back atmosphere.Prices are reasonable and truly represent the old saying of “you get what you pay for.... and more”!The only thing I will say, but understand why, is that for years they offered you a free beverage when you arrived for your appointment. After the pandemic, my previous barber went out of business and I was dreading trying to find another. Luckily, I ended up sitting with Pete at this location. Everyone who works here is a great conversationalist who learns about your interests and talks about things you dig -- instead of traffic, the weather, blah blah. On top of that, they stick tight to their schedules and you never have to wait more than a few minutes. They also mentor up-and-coming barbers and that type of mentorship is awesome to see.read more

Our stylish, Landan , was a Jr stylist - he gets a 10 out of 10. He took his time, listened to what we wanted, and did an excellent job. He was very polite, and sweet and attentive. We will absolutely be returning and using him. The only reason I am not giving the salon a perfect 5 star rating is bc, although the main stylist , when we walked in, did greet us and offered us a seat on the couch while we waited for our stylist we had the appt with (Landon) ....we were a half hour early...he was just not warm. He wasn't UNFRIENDLY, which is why I still am giving them 4 stars out of 5...he just wasn't exactly warm and welcoming. Didn't say much after offering the couch. I think his personality was just a little more reserved maybe. Walking into a new place for the first time, particularly a salon or barber shop, can be a little intimidating. But a very warm and welcoming greeting can ease that anxiety significantly. A more reserved greeting though will not be as effective.read more
