I’ve been going here for the past 2 years and always have a great experience. Rubin and his team are always friendly, professional, and have top notch skills. Even if I can’t get in Rubin’s chair, he’ll come over to say hi and explain my “usual” in the technical terms so I always get a great cut. Plus the price can’t be beat!read more

Great place. However, looks like it is closed permanently. Phone is disconnected and when I went their in person the entire inside of the building had been stripped out.

I was in town for a performance at Carnegie Hall and I decided to cut off my long locks. I selected this spot since it had good reviews and was within walking distance of Times Square. The shop is incredibly clean. Staff was friendly. I am picky about my haircuts and Alex did a phenomenal job with my wash and cut. He took his time to make sure I was happy with my cut and the fade was flawless. All I got was compliments on how nice a job Alex did when I got back together with my group. I highly recommend this spot. Next time I'm in NYC I'll be back.read more

I was wondering around midtown and came across the Manhattan cut barbershop. I decided to try it out.The high ceilings and well lit space is very sleek, clean and spacious. The black leather barber chairs accented with chrome are amazing and beautiful.This is a place that will transport you back to a time of what it was like to get a professional haircut. Prices are great.I got my haircut from Reuben and the service was superb. I have already received complements on my new cut! I found my new barbershop!read more

I've been going to this place for few months now and I absolutely love getting haircuts here. This is honestly the best barber shop with consistent good quality I've ever been to. The staff are not very talkative, but I don't find that an issue because they're communicative when it comes to the haircut and they make sure you got what you asked for.The best thing about the haircut here is they always ask for your feedback on the haircut as they're cutting you hair which matters to me a lot because I don't always know exactly what number to use for the sides or how short the top should be cut etc.Definitely suggest this to anyone who's not willing to spend too much on haircuts but still get a decent enough haircut for any occasion.read more

Have chosen here for my haircut since last year. The good service and the low price are fantastic. Rubin cut my hair for this time. As a foreigner, I’m always nervous about haircut because it’s difficult for me to describe what I want exactly. Rubin is patient enough to walk me through all the details and I appreciate that. I come here often and enjoy it every time. Reuben is a very good person and a superb barber. The place is super clean and the prices are very fair. Even for a NYC barbershop.I get a full beard trim, haircut, with hot towel and facial treatment all for $50. May sound like a lot but that type of service can go for as much as $70-$150 depending on the shop. You might even get a free shot while you wait, are in the chair.read more

Quite late on the review, but I spent the summer in NYC and wanted to get a haircut in late June. I decided to pop in from 110th St because of all the fantastic reviews I read on both Google and Yelp. Rubin cut my hair very quickly and listened to exactly what I wanted. I ended up with perhaps the best haircut I've ever had, and Rubin was a great conversationalist (too bad Croatia didn't win the World Cup!). I highly recommend this barbershop.read more

Rubin and his team at Manhattan Cut are fantastic! They're friendly, affordable, quick, and we always get great haircuts. My wife is very particular about her hair, but she goes here for cut and color, and they do her undercut as well (always a different but cool pattern). Highly recommended!read more
