What a nice Barbershop in the area! I came here to have my haircut with Elvin. Thankfully, you assigned her to cut my hair. I like him because he was so kind, creative, and speedy in cutting my hair. I thank him so much for being too responsible. It was an awesome work that was done by him! You're strongly recommended!read more

I was not expecting this awesome barbershop would be this incredible. My hair looked very great now! I am 100% satisfied customer with their staff's assistance. All of my questions were addressed, and I was provided a transparent rate of the services they provided to me as well. What a great experience. I was a little anxious with it being my first visit but I was so happy I decided to make the leap. It was my first ever beard trim to top it off and while it was a little treat while I was in town, I’m definitely going to treat myself to future visits when I’m town. They were very passionate about all things beards and made me feel like a regular from the moment I stepped into the shop.read more

Got my haircut here with Boris, and he did an amazing job.Only issues are 1) prices are a bit high and 2) they didn’t disinfect their tools pre / post cut when I was there

When I went it was quiet, just one barber and 1 other guy waiting. Haircut was done well, barber actually listened first. I made an appt but kot sure they strictly adhere to it but since both times I have not had to wait more than 10 minutes, it has not been an issue.read more

Won't regret coming here, they offer beer, shots, hard seltzer, water and coffee. After each haircut you get a nice hot towel on your neck not many people do that anymore. Can't argue with the price, won't regret coming to the shopread more

This barbershop is absolutely professional! They take appointments and walk ins as well. I brought my cousin in as a walk in. I was welcomed so nicely. I was offered some snacks and drinks! One of the employees David which took care of my cousins haircut was super professional and respectful ! He was super easy to work with! He gave my cousin a great haircut. I admired his patience and tenacity with us. He is really dedicated with his barber skills. Well done David. I will be using his service for my next appointment. Some people come from hair salons and want a skin fade a haircut that they have never gotten they have the Audacity to complain about the barbers, sad world I give my reviews based on my experience not anyone else's. I had the most amazing experience here at Jacks of all Fades. I was running late to my first date and they attended me right away. they served me a shot and gave me the best fade ive ever gotten. the guys are really amazing, chill, and very attentative to all my needs. Great place for a cut with a barber (and owner) who knows how to make a great experience. I don't usually leave reviews but I often struggle finding a barber who can provide a cut of good quality and specifically the owner, Boris (closest to the window/register), has never failed and makes getting a cut something to look forward to. Great experience overall.Addressing the negative reviews, specifically the most recent by (who is flat out being rude and clearly overexaggerating on their judgmental comments), this is never the experience I've had whether I'm waiting and observing or in the middle of a cut. It couldn't be more off, and I highly encourage anyone reading these to make a decision (as I did) to ignore those comments and see for yourself. I'm always positively greeted and feel I'm truly valued as a customer.Boris is always flexible when work gets in the way of an appointment and I need to move things around, has even stayed late on a few different occasions which I never ask for. He is always very friendly, polite, and accommodating. That has always been the case beginning with my first cut 2 months ago after relocating to the neighborhood. I've been to multiple barbers in the area and this is by far my favorite and will continue to be so.I've always seen positive reactions from others getting their cut here as well and have no reason to agree with the negative reviews.read more

As a Black woman with frontal alopecia, getting my hair done had been nonexistent. I live in the neighborhood and got to know Jack Of All Fades owner, Boris the Barber. He said he knew how to cut my texture of hair. I decided to give it a shot, and boy was it a smart decision. Even though I was the only female in the shop, Boris made me feel comfortable and welcomed. He asked questions about what I wanted and proceeded to give me a short, natural fade with feminine edges. These hair experts work quickly, efficiently and effectively in a shop that's clean and sanitary. And the prices are just right. If you're a woman looking for a great barber, give Boris a call. I started going to this place since I moved to Hell’s Kitchen and I can honestly say the barbers here are diligent, skilled and take a lot of effort to give you an excellent cut. I personally recommend Michael who normally does my cuts. He’s efficient and answers all questions and concerns. A great person to talk to as well.read more
