Hair Mechanix in Westland, MI is a fun, MALE-friendly place where men get what they deserve. Built by guys for guys and powered by better girls. The attentive and talented staff offer all current and vintage hairstyles. The barber shop is lined with big screen TV's and photos covering the walls, along with rock music on the speakers. Also, you can sit back and relax with a complimentary beer. Each haircut includes a wash and hot towel neck shave. Hair color and waxing services are available as well. It's certainly a man focused experience. Locations in Michigan, Florida, and Pennsylvania.

For just a few bucks more than places like great clips you get a real quality haircut, from talented barbers and stylists. All kinds of extras available like beard trims, massages. Haircut comes with a straight razor neck shave and hot towel treatment. Complementary beer or water as well. It's like 20 bucks. It's amazing. I'll never go back to great clips.read more

Great experience. My (almost) 20 month son got his 1st haircut by the girl in the 1st chair by the door (she's young and has bright orange hair). She was so sweet and did a great job on his hair.

I’ve had the honor of Lashell Allen to cut my hair serval times and she’s always done a good job but this last she went up and beyond. I told her I had a wedding to go to that I was nervous about because I don’t really style my hair and I had a date. So she did her magic lol and cut and styled and picked a good style for me and I had a lot of compliments especially from the one I wanted it from so thank you! I have been coming in to Hair Mechanix Westland for over 3 years and I always go see LaShell to cut my hair as well as trim and edge up my beard. She always gets me looking my best, even on those days when I've waited too long to get a haircut and I'm coming in looking like I just woke up under a bridge.All the stylists at Hair Mechanix Westland are great. My haircut was amazing, I personally am very quiet and don’t like to talk much at all, and my stylist who I believe was named “Rachel” completely respected that. And on top of that, she listened to what I wanted for my hair and did it perfectly, the people there are also just very unique too. I have been coming to this hair Mechanix for the last 10 years and also starting to bring my son here. My 2 main girls Rachel and Lashell are the 2 most amazing stylists I've ever used. Appointment process is super easy, her hours are convenient for him because of his busy work schedule, it’s easy to get in contact with her, she is very friendly and professional. The lady who cut my hair didn't know how to fade properly so she messed up... So I had to have other lady do it instead which wasted my time an the other lady time cuz she had a customer come in for his appointment. So The mistake of her took my time an the other customers time plus the worker time. But the lady finished the fade which was great after she touched it up for me...read more
