I’m visiting my family in NJ and am living in California. I read the reviews and they all said Kim was the person to go to. This, I made an appointment with her. She was AMAZING, she really took her time to give me comfort and great looking hair! I never had such a good experience at a barber shop. I really appreciated the time and effort Kim took to make me comfortable and get a great looking haircut! Highly highly recommend making your appointment with Kim. before moving to AZ my former barber recommended this place to me as one of the only places he trusted to do his hair. I made an appointment with Ed and was not disappointed. gained themselves a new loyal customer ! the 30 min trip is well worth it, and with the weather getting nicer each day, it makes for a pleasant Saturday drive. ed was great, but all the barbers seem to know their stuff and the establishment is very clean and professional. Prices are reasonable too!read more

Stopped in for the first time today. Called and told the receptionist I’ve never been to evil fades before but would love to try it. She made me an appointment for 11:30 with Marvin. He was exceptional and I love my hair cut. I’m new to the area and I’m glad I finally found a good barber. I’ll be returning 100%.read more

Been going to Evil Fades for years. Hands down best barber shop in NJ. Super friendly staff and knowledgeable on current styles. Every barber is top notch! The shop is ALWAYS clean. Thier fade work is amazing, as well as styling for longer hair. I REFUSE to go elsewhere to get my hair cut!read more

This is without question the best barbershop in the area. They have a bunch of talented barbers in-house and the place is really nice and clean. Vic is my go to guy for years, he provides a high quality cut every time. He is always on time and his attention to detail and skill set is second to none. They will not disappoint and as a bonus the conversation and atmosphere is always on point. I strongly recommend giving Vic and the rest of the guys at Evilfades a shot if you are looking for a new Barbershop to give a try.read more

When my last barber up and left his shop without much notice, I was in desperate need of a good buzz. The fact that he actually worked in this shop for a short time gave me some confidence that he would be working among other barbers of similar capabilities. I did my round of trying out barber shops in the surrounding area, all who advertise themselves with competent barbers who are good with a straight razor, but none of them were close to what they tout themselves to be.Luckily, my guess about Evil Fades turned out correctly. Zeky knew exactly what I was looking for and provided a clean and precise cut I needed. I’ve been taking my son there since the place opened and as far as quality, and appearance it can’t be matched easily. What makes me upset is the pricing for children. Today I paid $30.00 due to another price increase. This is the only reason that might make me look somewhere else from now on. Other than that, the place is good.read more

I booked an appointment online for a $30 haircut. I get the haircut and was charged $35 cuz the barber gave me a skin fade. Was a bait and switch. The haircut wasn't even a top notch haircut. There are better options within a short distance. I wont be going back. On the plus side, they have state of the art equipment, the place is clean, and they have a good covid 19 protocol in place.read more

Favorite barbershop . We take all 3 boys their . They all do a great job . Always on time . So easy to book on their website for me that’s a big win. I gave Evil Fades a shot today for the first time because they had great reviews on skin fades and fades in general. Within five minutes of sitting down in the chair with Marc R. I knew this will be the place I get my skin fade from now on. Great, clean, modern facility and the skin fade hair cut I received from Marc was hands down the best fade I’ve ever gotten in 35 years. Marc killed the skin fade (in a good way)! I will be going to Evil Fades from now on!read more

In looking for a new barbershop and reading many reviews it led me here. I read the owner’s bio on their website and decided this was the shop I would try. Upon calling for an appointment the receptionist that answered the phone turned out to be the owner’s mother! She was so cordial and I scheduled a same day appointment.Upon arrival I walked in and was greeted right away. I was assigned to Adam who was great. A few weeks prior I went to a different shop and got butchered. Nothing worse than having your new growing in beard all crooked. Well, Adam was amazing! Expert barbers who take their time and listen to your needs. They turn out phenomenal work and aren't rushing you out of the chair. Evil Fades is more expensive than your typical barber shop but it's worth it in my opinion so YMMV.read more

At first I thought it was only for younger guys because of it’s vibe but when I saw a mixed crowd exiting one day,I booked an appointment and was lucky to find ADAM who I see monthly.
