It's a really nice barbershop with everyone working diligently at their craft. I've never been there so I decided to give it a shot. I personally felt uncomfortable when walking in...all of a sudden the ENTIRE shop just stopped talking and I caught some side eyes.... Weird. Barber shops are inherently a subjective thing to review, so just wanted to post my experience. I see Bernardo regularly and typically get a med or high skin tight fade, a little off the top, and a hard-part for a comb over. Fairly simple, and Bernardo knocks it out of the park every time. I also like how he keeps my front hairline even, even though my natural hairline is somewhat slanted (as are most people's I reckon).Doesn't have that barber-shop-banter from a typical main street barber, but solid work every time I'm in.read more

New Barber Shop for me, so this is my first time going to this location. Overall the location is easy to get to, quite a bit of parking around back, and very nicely located near the train station. The staff is extremely professional and has no problems carrying out a conversation if you want. The quality is quite high for the price, and Ricky did an exceptional job on my hair. With new ownership as of June 2017 the new barber Sean is a really friendly guy and very serious into his job. His fades are top notch. I also had a second haircut with his partner Mike and he is equally as good. It's a bit pricey but it's well worth it. Jenny has incredible skills. Half the time I have no idea what I want so I just let her work her magic and I've never had a bad cut. This place is classy and no-nonsense. Grab an appointment with Jenny as soon as she's available. Always a great experience, she is the stylist to whip up any mop you have into a really solid cut. Was able to schedule my appointment one day in advance online, super easy. I chose Jenny as I had her when I went there two months ago. Needed a tip top haircut for my best friends weddings and she did not disappoint. She was very patient with me and didn’t mind me asking to go shorter not once, but twice. This place is a really good shop with very reasonable prices and talented barbers. Initially I went there because I was really tired of my old shop raising their prices for Covid and then not lowering them back once full capacity was allowed again. Did the whole trick of “promoting” barbers as well to charge more which I found out didn’t even go to his pocket. Now I go City Image and come back every 3 weeks because my specific barber (Pasquale) is fantastic and the other barbers at the shop are friendly to everybody whether you are their customer or not. I’ve also seen their work to be really good on other while I’ve been in the shop. It took me 5 years of living in Morristown to try this place out and I am thrilled I finally did a few months ago.read more

If you want a top-tier experience at a barbershop, please go to City Image Barbershop. Very clean store with TV’s around so i could enjoy watching sports while getting a haircut.My barber Nick was amazing - he pays attention to detail and does an excellent job cutting any style of hair. Ive been going to him before he came to City Image Barbershop and he can pretty much cut any type of fade you want.He also is a great person to converse with and gives you recommendations on how to make your haircut last longer and improve the overall health of your hair.read more

Go with Nick, I think he has natural talent for cutting hair. And he’s also careful. For example, over the years, I can’t say how many times I’ve told someone to just take a little off the top, and they take way too much off. Jenny is remarkable -- it's amazing to watch her (and the other barbers) shift seamlessly from classic fades and tapers to traditional cuts as their wide and diverse range of customers make their way into the chairs. I have had consistently good experiences with City Image in Morristown -- nice, friendly people, good haircuts, not too hard to get an appointment. The prices are in line with similar places, though higher than traditional barbershops.One suggestion: for some reason, all of the hair stylists have the customer chairs turned so we are facing the blank, mirrorless opposite wall, rather than the side with the mirror and televisions. This seems a bit odd to me, and is a little frustrating, as I'd prefer to see what is happening, make eye contact with the stylist while chatting, and/or see the TVs, particularly when a sporting event is being shown. I wish they'd move their comfort mats around so customers could face the more traditional way. Alternatively, put mirrors on the far wall.The music is okay, but sometimes a bit too "dance club" oriented.read more

Jenny was great, rlly understood how I wanted the cut to look — not too short on top with a strong fade on the back but not too strong, with extension of the fade to the sides - highly recommend!
