My son has been going there for about three years. They are excellent. I would recommend other teenage boys go there. It’s great because it’s a nice place they do serve men and women. It’s like quick service and the price is not outrageous. Plus the tip which is very decent. They wash the hair and style it!read more

The place is very clean, quick and fairly priced. But unfortunately like most places I've been to the barber that cut my hair did not manage my curls well. He cut my hair far shorter than requested and the sides where I got a fade are growing back without direction and very coarse. I would definitely recommend it for people with straight hair though! The employees are friendly and experienced, the prices are okay, but it's just not for my curls.read more

I Recently moved here from Florida. I am very particular about my beard so I spent quite a bit of tome looking into all the different locations. Finally I came across Bonefade. Absolutely love the place. Mark is the man. I get my beard done by him and it’s always on point. Music the atmosphere everything about this place rocks. As a dude with long hair, I was relieved to find this spot when I moved to NY. Jane knew what she was doing and gave a perfect trim that allowed my hair to grow out and look good. Ok entering the first thing you are offered is a beer or a shot. So you know you have come to the right place!Such a great vibe. Everyone's super friendly and they really know how to cut hair. As they will tell you everyone working there has a PHD in cutting hair!It's a little more expensive than others around but you get what you pay for! And I have not had such a good cut in a while! Without a doubt one of the best barber shops in New York. Not only are they amazingly talented barbers, but they are amazing hosts. Every time I go it’s more than a haircut, it’s a full on on experience (music ,drinks, lots of laughs, and great personalities). The negative reviews come from lack of communication, if you communicate clearly what you want you will leave happy. Every time I go, they go above and beyond to make sure I am happy with my cut. They truly are amazing, I come in looking like 6/10 and come out looking like 10/10. I’m going today and it is the highlight of my day.read more

I have trust issues when it comes to my beard. Being a bald guy, I never fully understood why some people were so particular about their barbers until I started caring about my beard. I have tried numerous barbers for beard trims and shape-ups, and most of those experiences ranged from less-than-ideal to downright depressing.I scheduled an appointment with Victoria for a beard trim. She's the third barber I have tried in the past couple of months. I was nervous. Historically, there has only been a single barber in the city I trust with my beard. Unfortunately, however, she is a bit too far for me to travel to on a regular basis.Anyway, I get to my appointment and I am seated within a couple minutes. Victoria introduces herself, asks what I'm looking for, and gets to work.Her attention to detail is rivaled only by my other trusted barber. In all, Victoria spent about 40 minutes shaping my beard, constantly checking to make sure it was symmetrical. She also focused on areas that most barbers completely ignore, such as around the mouth.I'll be honest: I was skeptical. I mean, naturally, since most of my experiences with barbers have been rather terrible.Victoria doesn't know this yet, but she is now one of only two barbers in the city that I trust with my beard.Guys, if you care about your beard at all and you live in the East Village, schedule with Victoria.read more
