They have a variety of styling products and well informed professionals to help you with any look. Adults receive a straight razor and hot towel treatment on their neck finishing any haircut. I have been wanting to go to this location for years but my other go to has been so good, today they were closed ? Showed up at 9:30, there was about a 1/2 wait luckily they have lots of seats in the waiting area. I don't know the name of the barber who cut my hair but he was very good (first chair outside the seating area). Told him how I've had it cut in the past, before I know it I was done. I look normal again for another 2 months. Establishment is cash only fyi, there is an ATM on site probably with fees so just bring cash with you. Would be great if they took Android pay. I will be back.read more

I just left Bethel Barber and felt the need to leave a review for one of the Barbers. I dont leave reviews typically unless the service was extraordinarily good or extraordinarily bad, and in this case I am above and beyond happy. All of the barbers here are phenomenal, but Corey specifically really took it to the next level for me today. I had neck surgery only a week and a half ago, and have been feeling like hell about myself. The surgeons cut my beard off, my hair was grown in like crazy, and I can hardly walk. And while he is super meticulous with all of his clients, he took even more time to make sure we could get this done without damaging it. Conversation was light and positive, and I had an overall great experience. If you're wondering which barber to go to, go to him. He did great with my beard and razor work too! I've been going too same barber for the past 8 years . In a pinch I stopped in before a meeting to get my hair cut and beard boxed up. Always impressed by my hair cut from Jeff which is reasoning I keep coming back. With how picky I am with my hair cuts (went to same person for 12 years straight, moved to this area) I am very happy with the results. Jeff’s got some major talent. I just moved to Pittsburgh from Baltimore and have a priceless relationship with my barber in Baltimore. The guy that gets my hair, my style, and me in general. Fresh off a move and looking every bit as unkempt as moving a family of four across state lines, I relied on Yelp to find a barber near me. After reading some comments, this place seemed to click so I sent a message. Very quickly, the owner replied and suggested going to 3 of the barbers working that day. I walked in and was immediately greeted and offered a chair. I mentioned the three names I was given and all three were immediately pointed out and I was welcomed to sit and wait for one of them. I ended up with Jeff and he absolutely rocked it based on a picture I showed of the best cut I ever had. Approached it differently than I was used to so I was initially skeptical, but after about 20 minutes I could tell that I was in good hands. Jeff paid attention to every detail. Trimmed my beard, mustache, eyebrows, and shape up. Expert level straight razor work and a hard part that is meticulous. As important as the product is the ambiance and environment. It doesn't feel like getting a haircut. It feels like chilling with your boys. Jeff was personable and genuine. The guy that originally greeted me was amicable and involved in the conversation that lead to so many personal connections that it was uncanny. If you read this and are thinking about going in. Great barbershop! I have been getting my haircut by Jeff who is phenomenal. But on this visit, he was on vacation. I sat with Tyler who cuts my co worker's hair. My co worker saw my cut, and I told him about this barbershop and he began going here because he liked my cut. Now that he is going here, he usually gets cut by Tyler. So, anyways, I sat with Tyler who did a good job. I can tell he is very particular in his cuts. I've observed him with others, and he was very particular with them as well. Not a prob for me. Do it right, or don't do it at all! He did a great job. Jeff will always be my main man, but it is nice to experience another barber and feel comfortable with them. Great barbershop!read more

Had to get in and out this morning before work bc im going out of town tonight and needed my beard trimmed. Walked right in and was in the chair immediately. I have been here several times and NEVER disappointed. Its worth the drive for a barber shop who can finally get my beard the way i want it. Got my haircut there right before quarantine began. Looked fresh for almost 5 weeks! MJ gave me an awesome skin-fade. Place is very clean, welcoming staff, sports on TV, kid friendly, ATM inside. Highly recommend for a cut especially for big day/date.read more

Today I went to The House of Kutz on wWest Liberty Avenue. There, I received the worst hack job that I have seen on a person in my life. I went to Bethel Barbershop immediately after. The owner, Lee, sat me down and turned it to the best cut I’ve ever had. The entire staff was very friendly, the shop was clean, the atmosphere was great, and their skills are unmatched. I used to take my son to salons and the girls could never execute a simple fade. We started buzzing his hair at home for a couple years. We finally decided he was ready for a barbershop and we weren't disappointed. He's had his hair cut by quite a few barbers here and while they all have different styles and techniques I've never left feeling unhappy about my boys cut. I believe you get what you pay for so I'm willing to pay a few extra bucks to have my son walk out looking fresh. I have to say Jeff gives the fastest cuts but they look amazing! Not only was my husband’s haircut and beard trim done professionally and looks great, but the owner who did the cut was kind, helpful and compassionate. My husband had several strokes October 4, had a neck fusion for a fracture in November and was recently diagnosed with a blood cancer. He walks slowly with a walker and needs assist getting on and off chairs. Lee helped him with his special needs and according to my husband made him feel “ normal”. Thanks… we’ll be back!read more

I’ve been going to these lovely people for almost 10 years now. Whether it’s for a special occasion, or just a routine clean up, I’ve NEVER walked out of the shop disappointed. Been here numerous times with varying levels of good cuts. My first was tremendous, older lady in the back corner, always forget her name, and Ragina seems very nice. Would rate 5 stars but have yet to have less than an hour wait regardless of the number of people in front of me with 4 to 5 barbers. There's usually some appointments some barbers keep that bypass the sign in sheet and those waiting patiently, despite the no appointment statement on the phone and on website. This does not include those that signed and went back to their vehicle. It has happened each time so far,and can become quite frustrating. Overall though, usually great results, never disappointing!read more

I had Lee and he did a wonderful job. I’ve NEVER seen a barber so into their craft. We were talking about skill development at some point and he said that after 25yrs of doing this, he’s still learning to do his job even better. I study people who become masters at what they do, and this is NOT a normal attitude you might see today in very seasoned professionals of Lee’s experience level.Professional mindset, professional approach, professional quality, very well-decorated for Halloween might I add, and a beautifully paved parking lot, that’s Bethel Barber Shop for you!read more

Lee does an amazing job with my very busy 3 year old boy. The cuts are always well done and he takes the time to make sure you're happy with what he's doing. All of the staff is very friendly and welcoming. They come to greet my little guy every time we walk in. He does a phenomenal job with my hair as well which difficult to cut. The shop is always clean, there's a sign in sheet for walk ins, or they take appointments on the Booksy app. We're very happy with everything here.read more

I have been going to Bethel Barber Shop for a year now and have been very impressed with their prompt service. I have a busy schedule and being able to book appointments on their app is nice and easy. Also, I have never waited more than 5min past my scheduled appointment time. The barbers there are all friendly and its a great atmosphere. I have never received a bad haircut and the owner/management truly care that you have a great experience. On top of the excellent service their prices are extremely fair. I highly recommend checking them out if you need a cut!read more

I made an appointment with Olivia on 11/9/23 - switching barbers can be much like switching therapists (for me). Not only was Olivia extremely kind; her attention to detail was incredibly impressive. Not only was I beyond satisfied with my much-needed cut when finished, but is has continued to grow out in way that looks great, too. It’s comforting to know my hair will stay in good hands! Last Saturday I took my two-year-old son in for a well needed haircut. This young man by the name of Alec Pacheco said that he was available. He was so great with my son, and also did an amazing job at keeping him calm. My son is very energetic and high energy, but he sat very still, and Alec did a good job at reassuring him that he was doing a good job and was walking him through all the steps that he was taking to cut his hair. Which made my son very comfortable in his chair! Will definitely be going back and requesting Alec from now on!!!read more
