My son recieved his first hair cut here, They were beyond patience and explained everything to hom so he wouldnt be scared. Wont take him anywhere else.

I booked with Max after my fiance got his haircut from him. Max was very accommodating, easy to talk to and a master barber! He spent 45 minutes cutting what seemed like each individual hair on my head. It was apparent Max cares about his craft and satisfying his clients. I will definitely be back on a routine basis!read more

Had super long hair and got a real cut for the first time since middle school, what a great crew and what a great cut. I forgot the name of the specific barber but he did a fantastic job.

Absolute top notch Barber Shop. Had my hair cut by Jay, he was extremely professional and really took his time. He provided great service and information. I was impressed on pretty much every level of service, on top of the great crew providing a fun environment. Highly recommend if you are with any distance less than two hours away, it is worth the trip. Will be a customer for life.read more

Hands down one of the best kept secrets in Pittsburgh when it comes to barbershops! They brought on a barber named Jay who gives this New York raised businessman the best fades whenever I'm in town!

My husband and two sons go here. Skilled barbers, courteous, and very nice atmosphere. I feel comfortable sitting in the shop with my children as the conversation is customer friendly.

Like anyone I am very particular about my haircut. If you want the best cut you’ve ever had hands down MAX B is the dude to see. The shop has a laidback atmosphere and it’s clean. Would recommend to anyone.read more

It was my first time at Kool's and I'll definitely be going back. Max B. did a cut and beard shape up for me. Just showed him a picture of what I was wanting and he nailed it. I left the beard styling up to him with just a disclaimer that I wanted the same general length. He shaped it up perfectly and my wife was very happy with it so that's the true test! Thanks Max! I didn't get to meet the other barbers but they all seemed nice. The overall vibe in the shop was great and you could tell all the barbers are friends, enjoy working there, and take their craft seriously.read more

I've been coming here for a couple years now. That have a great atmosphere, are always incredibly accommodating with the schedule and do solid work. I've never gotten a better cut anywhere else!

I've been coming here for a few years and have since moved away. Any time I come back to Pittsburgh I stop to get a cut from Max because it really doesn't get any better than Kool's Barber shop.
