Reviewing the 2 times I've gone earlier this year before Corona set in. Both cuts were with Marco, good guy, took his time with the cuts and had a friendly attitude. Was attended to promptly at the scheduled time.The cuts themselves were OK, nothing special, and to me not worth the premium cost + tip. I paid for a beard detail on the first cut, thought he'd use a hot towel and straight edge razor rather he used beard foil shaver. Which is not much better vs at home self maintenance.Parking is a bit tricky, need to park behind the store in a municipal lot, might need to pay if within hours.read more

Danny and his team are some baby faced barbering masters. I have personally sat with 3 different barbers in this shop and have never been disappointed. I have since started bringing my son to Danny as well. They truly deliver high end salon quality skill with barber shop prices. Just be sure to book an appointment. Like any great talent, they are booked pretty solid, so walking in sans an appointment could result in a lengthy wait.read more

Book and go see my dude, CARLOSSSSS!!!! I traveled all around the state looking for a good barber after my previous barber I used for 18 years retired. Now, I’m happy he retired! I moved to Verona, NJ 6 years ago. I struggled to find a barbershop for the first year or so, until I wandered into Bello and never had to look again. The atmosphere is very friendly, the music is always right, and the cuts are absolute fire. I see Carlos and he kills it every time. I even had Carlos and Clay come to my wedding and do cuts for my groomsmen party. The wedding price was fair and affordable and the guys traveled an hour, showed up early, brought breakfast and had my groomsmen looking GREAT for the big day. The shop has an old school barbershop vibe and each barber is equipped with the skills to give you whatever cut you need.. I HIGHLY recommend the services here.read more

I’ve been going to Bello for a couple years now, after struggling to find a reliable barber. Once Carlos cut my hair I never had that problem again. Every time Carlos cuts my hair it’s exactly what I want from the length to the style, not to mention my beard looks amazing every single time. I use to live in West Orange so my commute was about 10 minutes, I moved to Morristown and still drive 30 minutes just to get my hair cut specifically by Carols. We have become good friends, we talk throughout the entire hair cut from weekend plans to how each other’s personal lives are going. Carlos has gotten so great at cutting my hair that I now sit in his chair and tell him to do whatever he wants, that’s trusting your barber.Dan, the owner, is one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. Every time I go I’m greeted right away, even if he’s concentrated on a hair cut, offered a water and asked if I need anything. I’ve never seen Bello anything but super clean as well. Clay, Marco and Tommy, the other barbers are also very nice, there’s always open conversations and good laughs. Good music and movies are also being played in the background creating a very fun and relaxing environment.I highly recommend Bello to anyone and everyone.read more

I have been going to Bello for about a year now and have been impressed with their shop from day one. The place is clean, run professionally with a friendly staff - feels like you are just going to hang with friends when going to get a cut. Two barbers from Bello (Clay & Carlos) actually came to my sisters wedding to cut the groomsmen hair on the day of the wedding - one of the really cool services they provide. Carlos has been cutting my hair ever since that day. Carlos is a really awesome guy and great barber who can do a bunch of different styles, always lets me know what he thinks will look best and ALWAYS has me looking my best when I walk out the door. My husband and I recently used Bello to do a private event, our wedding at The Pleasantdale Chateau. We booked with Dan over a year in advance and my husband started going to him for cuts before the wedding to make sure he had the look that he wanted for the day.The shop is immaculate and everyone that works there is welcoming and professional. Dan himself is amazing, he is always listening to any changes you might want to make and then gives a beautiful cut.As for the wedding day, Dan blew us away with his punctuality that morning and texting me to reassure me that he had everything set up and ready to go for the groomsmen. All of the guys were so happy with whatever service they received, and said that Dan was the highlight to their morning! I’ve been to mainly high end barbers and stylists and I can confidently say my cut with Daniel is at the top.Daniel runs a very professional, but relaxing shop where all his employees operate with the same level of care and precision.From the moment I sat down, Daniel took time to observe my head shape, recent cut, and ultimately provided suggestions on how to slightly improve the look. Danny and the team at Bello in Verona are top notch. I went in there in a pinch one day after having a regular stylist for 5 years. Danny took care of me and took the extra details and time to give me the best cut. 3 years later and I’m a bi monthly guy. Wow… thats the only reaction I can give after a haircut at Bello. From the second you walk in the door they make you feel at home. The dynamic between the guys in the shop is electric and they make you feel like you’ve known them for years from the first handshake.Clayton is my go too guy now, he listens to what I am looking for and makes suggestions for my hair type, which most barbers don’t bother to go the extra mile. The owner Danny made sure he greeted me from the first time I visited the shop and made sure I was satisfied with the experience. After speaking with him for a few minutes before I was on my way out, I realized why the shop was so busy and why you are paying for way more than just a haircut, but the whole experience. They aren’t looking to just give you a quick cut once in a while, but be your barber for a lifetime. They pay so much attention to detail to make sure you have a haircut that doesn’t just look good from the time you got it, but consistently looks great all the way up until you’re ready for your next cut, and that to me is worth it every time.If you haven’t been to Bello yet I suggest you head on over and give them a chance, I know I was happy I did and it has now been the only shop I go for a haircut.read more
