MIKE IS THE MAN!! My friend got his hair trashed from a hair salon and walking in to this shop was the best decision we could’ve made. My friend and I were astonished at how great his hair looked after Mike was done with the cut. Later, Mike was explaining to us how he cuts and treats the layers of hair. Mike is the best barber I have ever had! He is clearly very experienced and able to cut my hair quickly and confidently – which translates into the haircut. I used to hate getting my haircut. I would go to barbers and ask for a style and they would cut it, but it wouldn’t look good on me. Mike was able to explain why the style I wanted wouldn’t actually work for my face type and was able to suggest a modified cut that gave me the style I wanted, but that would work for my face. Mike also was able to suggest a care routine that keeps my hair feeling and looking great. Now I’m excited to get my haircut because I know I will always leave looking good with a great haircut at a great price!read more

Mike is the best barber I have been to in Boston! I was referred to Mike from a friend who has been going to him for years and I can say every-time I sit down with him he is a perfect mix of listening to what I want but also using his skill to help find the perfect haircut for me. Most skilled barber I have been to (especially layering) and great conversationalist. Will also give you great tips for haircare / styling. Will keep coming back!read more

We had a great experience here! It was my son’s (2.5) first haircut and he had a mop that needed cut. I had low hopes and expectations but the haircut went so well and the barber was so patient and kind. They have everything you need to make it through the haircut seamlessly. I have shoulder-length hair and a tight beard. Mike knew exactly how to cut and trim. He complimented my style with a change to the length and complete beard trim a shaping. I brought my nephew here and Mike Caf was his barber and mike was amazing! He is very talented and knowledgeable! My nephew doesn’t like getting a haircut but Mike made him feel comfortable and he was very patient! He is very outgoing as well which made us trust him and he is someone that makes the shop a great atmosphere! I will always bring my nephew here and I recommend to all my friends who are are guys and my friend with kids no matter the age ! Mike cut my hair and did a good job, as usual. I also had him trim my beard. I was very happy with the results. I don't often let anyone trim my beard, but Mike did a great job on it, giving it some shape and contour, while leaving most of the length.Mike is great to talk to, too. A good haircut needs to include good conversation, at least for me. A barber is like a bartender, but you can see one in the morning without getting funny looks.read more

Finally found a great barber! Mike treated my 2 boys like royalty. They've been trying to grow their hair long and haven't been confident or happy with the haircuts they've been getting. Mike's suggestions to them made them feel excited about it and when they were done I could see the confidence in their faces. Mike Caf does an amazing job cutting toddlers hair. Even though my toddler kept moving his head, he is able to get the cut done and it looks great. Highly recommend!!

My son recently went to Z’s and got an excellent haircut from Mike. Another barber had tried to cut is very wavy hair and did such an awful job. I took him to Z’s to see if they could fix it and Mike did an amazing job with what he had to work with. Will definitely be taking my son there again.read more
