Description
Style of Man in Manayunk is a unique blend of barbershop technique and salon style. Some men are hesitant about going to salons because they are geared too much towards women, but here they provide a place just for men. Haircuts include a shampoo with a scalp massage and a straight razor neck shave. Clients are welcome back for complimentary clean ups in between haircuts. Style of Man prides itself on minimum waiting, relaxing atmosphere, and a great haircut with a personal touch.

Just the best. Friendly, courteous, and very SKILLED staff. Always the best. As mentioned in other reviews, maybe not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Excellent. Jen is GREAT!!!!

Overall, great staff and I normally leave pretty happy with my haircut!Melissa, however, is the absolute worst. I made a mistake and ended up being 10 mins late for my appt. with her. I was greeted with "I'm not going to give you a cut. Time is money, and I don't have time for you." She was so unprofessional and rude, that I thought she was joking. Unfortunately she wasn't. While another, nicer, more talented woman cut my hair, Melissa proceeded to sit in the corner, angrily on her phone. The place is very efficient and all good stylist. You pay a little more than other places but you do get consistency which is worth the cost to me.

This was my first time coming here since my roommate recommended me the place. It was near my house and I’ve always gone to the same shop in Philadelphia and it’s quite a drive.My stylist was named Kathy, and she does an amazing job as a stylist. She was very professional and knew what she was doing. Her knowledge on haircut is beyond what I could imagine. She was training someone at the same time so I got a better understanding of where she needs cut short and long because of my Asian hair. I must say she did a fantastic job. It wasn’t the same haircut as I’ve always gotten since I was 14 and I must say change is definitely good.I am definitely coming back to this place to get my haircut done. The price for the haircut was $45, which is a bit more expensive than traditional haircut places that is $20. But don’t let that stop you from coming.. you pay for what you want, and this is something I really wanted. Tipped her $15 because her service was amazing.Thank you so much, Kathy for your time and patience for my mess of a hair.I will be back!read more

This is legit the only place I can trust to go get my haircut and know I’m going to be happy when I walk out. Ever since I found Brianna, I haven’t needed/wanted to have another person to cut my hair. The service they provide is awesome! I’m writing this because I just got back from a haircut at another shop. I usually come here for Ledina and my cut is always perfect. My wife had given me a gift card for another local chain off a recommendation from a friends husband. With Ledina on vacation and my hair getting a little too long i figured i would give this other place a shot.I’m currently shopping for hats so that i can get by until Ledina is back. I truly enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Indigo in Harrisburg! They will be my official hotel whenever I am in the area. They are convenient to get to right off the interstate and accessible to food and shopping places. The special touches in the rooms as well as a super comfy bed/pillows sealed the deal. They also have a restaurant/bar in the lobby and food, drink and service was really good!.,I am big on customer service and everyone we encountered was very helpful!read more

If you have curly dense hair and are looking for someone who will do a phenomenal job cutting your hair then I highly recommend booking with Brianna at style of man. I have seen countless barbers who claimed they could work with my hairstyle but could not. Brianna does a great job and I will definitely be sticking with her for years to come! Needed a haircut for my wedding, because there was no availability at my usual spot. I received the best cut I've ever gotten, and I will now be a regular customer. The service was impeccable. My hair was washed the second I walked in, and my cut started at the exact time of my appointment. I was well taken care of, and I was not rushed like at most establishments.
