Great service, very affordable. Maggie and the 2 other stylists are friendly, professional, and do a better job for about half the price than any of the chain stores. A++++

Maggie, and Christine are great!! I haven't gotten the chance to work with the gentlemen there (I don't recall his name - Jose?) The newest member - Jeff is good, if he's not distracted. If his children are there, he can't concentrate and is easily distracted, which is understandable to a degree, however, since he has clippers and scissors near your head, you'd like his full attention.read more

It's not easy to find a barber who actually listens to you and cuts your hair the way you want. I tried Stony Brook and the first time was very encouraging. Unlike some other shops, these guys use comb and scissors, layer your hair, and when they use the trimmer they don't just run over your head with a plastic attachment. Still, basic cut is only $14 and I expect to be going back again. They did a nice job. At least the first time.read more

Friendly neighborhood barbershop! Jose is super attentive to detail and always does a great job for me. Prices are fair and comparable for the area. True barbershop that finishes off the haircut with straight razor shave on the back of the neck.read more

A reasonably clean and tidy barber shop. I didn't have to wait too long for my turn in the chair. The barber was very professional and did a great job. His chair was toward the back of the shop so there was some space from the others. Great conversation and a great cut. I would suggest the option for a hot shave. Thanks.read more

Love this place! Has that old school barber shop feel. Everyone there is really nice, and honestly the best hair cut I've gotten in York. I always have the manager, Maggie, cut my hair. She's fast, but does an amazing fade. I get compliments from friends and family every time.read more

I took my son here because he is almost a man, he needs a barber. Somewhere, he can regularly go and get a reasonable cut. I called ahead of going, other places that said they do walk ins and clearly didn't. This shop is walk ins only. They are very reasonably priced. I doubt you'd find anywhere this affordable in York. They are quick. Hold a pleasant conversation. My son went in with shoulder length, wanting to go back to short. This is exactly what he needed. They got his hair to what he wanted, and now he has somewhere affordable and local that he can go back to for trims. Their hours and prices are clearly priced, and they don't try to upsell you.read more

My son went there every 2 weeks. He's was going there for 3 years since he and I moved into the area. He always enjoyed the service & coming in there. The price is affordable.
