Founded in 2013, we were the first unisex barbershop in Nashville and have grown to have several locations in Franklin, Sylvan Park, Germantown, Wedgewood-Houston, and the Gulch.

Earlier this year I reached out, asking for recommendations for a stylist who not only worked well with children, but children with curly hair. Through that search, we connected with Carolina at Scout's Barbershop.Our son was not even 2 when he got his first haircut from her, back in February. She talked with him and helped him feel at ease. Since that first haircut he has been back to her twice and has loved it every time. Last night, he climbed up into the chair and settled in like, “Let me tell you about my day!”Having curly hair myself, it is difficult to find someone with the skill to give me a cut that is cute and done well. I was nervous taking our son, who has tighter curls than I do, to get a cut. Carolina is patient and meticulous. I highly recommend her!The staff at Scout’s is also wonderful…very friendly and welcoming. My husband, our 2 year old, and I leave happy every time.read more

Carolina is absolutely the BEST! She is the hairstylist for myself, my son and my boyfriend. She does the most amazing job. She has helped my Son transition his hairstyle several times all the while taking her time, being patient and, making sure his hair looks great throughout the transition, (we all know how important that is!!!). In addition, she keeps my boyfriend happy and he is SUPER particular about his hair. And if that isn’t already enough, she somehow just miraculously cut my hair in a way that brought my natural wave! For this Mom, having low maintenance hair is priceless!!!read more

Arrived on time for my appointment. They take all of your credit card information over the phone in order to make an appointment.After 10 minutes of waiting past my appointment time, no apology or acknowledgement for the delay. I understand that sometimes appointments run over, but at least say something to me as I'm sitting there waiting. I asked the receptionist about it. Haircutter was not too happy that I spoke up about the delay. Not friendly, we were both silent the whole time I was in the chair. Some people either shouldn't be in customer service, or need to go back to customer service school. There are tons of places to get my hair cut.read more

Like that, I could make an appointment. Punctual. My stylist listened and gave me exactly what I wanted. Prices are a little high, but so is everything else right now. Only disappointment is I asked for the same beard oil she used because I liked the fragrance. The one she picked for me (kind of pricey) was not the same thing.read more

Scout's always delivers! I'd trust any one of their stylists to ace my cut on their worst day.If you have a favorite stylist I'd recommend regularly scheduling ahead of time as they book up quickly, sometimes week's ahead, but like I said above, you're in good hands no matter who you get on a walk-in. Walk-ins should still schedule ahead online to guarantee a spot!read more

Melanie did a fantastic job on my hair! She was friendly and attentive to the details that make for a great haircut. I’ve always been of a “get a haircut when you need it” mindset. But, I felt so confident after this haircut that I will be regularly scheduling her! Cost for haircut and beard trim was more than reasonable for the quality that I received.read more

I don’t know the barber’s name, but he gave him a great haircut. My son was very pleased. We love 1.5 hours away, but my son said he wishes we could go to him every time. Thanks so much!
