They are experienced in all styles of hair for men and boys including flat tops, fades, and all modern and ethnic styles. They can even do designs & logos in your hair in full color. Complimentary straight razor neck clean up with every service. Upon request, you can get a free shoeshine, hot towel, massage & shampoo. Usually you'll find a stocked fridge with juice, soda and even beer, along with snacks & candy, all free. Plus free snacks & candy. Sal truly puts his customers first.

*Update: Had to switch barber shops a few months ago. Used to get great cuts here till my last 3 weren’t acceptable. Got the same woman 3 times in a row. Poor quality cut each time. Best hair cut around. Bobby, the owner, really knows how to cut hair and you can tell he takes pride in his work. Fair prices and a great quality cut. We should all be supporting our local small businesses. Glad I found a great new barber. Thanks!read more

Bobby the owner gave me my first cut. I had the prohibition cut. He was super friendly and down to earth. We had a relaxing convo and he gave me the best comb over! Check out this charming spot for a professional cut at a reasonable cost!read more

It's a wonderful little barbershop where walk-ins are welcome, the cuts are clean, and the staff are laid back and chill.The amenities include a Keurig coffee machine and a nice seating area to use while waiting for a cut, but every time I've been here the wait was pretty short and the area around the barbershop has a few places to grab a coke and slice of pizza.All in all every haircut I've gotten from this place was great and it didn't break the bank for a shapeup, I've been going to here for the past year and a half as my primary barbershop so I highly recommend it.read more

Stopped in before a wedding from out of town and I am super happy about my cut. For anyone that gets their hair faded and short, you know how hard it can be to get a clean cut. This place is small and if it's full it may be a little wait but trust me it's worth it. Staff is super friendly and they know what they are doing. An outstanding neighborhood barbershop. Friendly staff, excellent prices, and great haircuts. Many cuts end up looking similar...but they also tend to look very good, so that could be worse. Staff are also very responsive--if you're not completely satisfied at first, they'll take the time to make sure you look exactly how you want.read more

Bobby is a great guy and a great barber. He gave me one of the best -- if not the best -- cuts of my life. However, I have gone on 3 different occasions now where they were supposed to be open and weren't. This is frustrating to say the least. I have called ahead a few times but was told it's walk-in only, fine. So, I got in the habit of just showing up without calling ahead. That came back to bite me because I have driven all the way to Swarthmore from work and from home on different occasions just to find they are closed, even though the posted hours AND the sign out front said otherwise. It's only Bobby and his wife there and the environment is great. I enjoy the conversations and sometimes his young son and puppy are there. However, the cut I got from his wife was not as good as Bobby's. I felt like she didn't take as much time as Bobby would and didn't ask many questions -- just cut. If I had written this review after my first cut, it would have been 5 stars. However, after returning multiple times, I have found this place to be inconsistent. Furthermore, the "cash only" thing is somewhat annoying. They have a machine to take cards but it has been broken since I have been going here for a few months now. I went 2 days in a row now and both times closed. Posted hours are 9am-6pm. I was there on a Tuesday at 5pm and Wednesday at 9am -- closed. I'll be searching for another shop now.read more

Sal is hands down the BEST barber. Always amazing haircuts, friendly staff. I've been to all his other shops and this and this one is no different. My son has autism and he's even amazing with him. His shop and his barbers never disappoint. The free drinks and snacks don't hurt eitherread more
