Premium Barbershop is owned by Uriel, who grew up in a family of barbers and after years in the hair design industry, decided to focused on men's haircare with this barber shop. Been going to Premium Barber Shop for the last 3 years. Usually get a skin fade or tape up and they do an amazing job. Atleast three of the barbers there have cut my hair and I am always happy with the service. Would highly recommend to any looking for a good barber to check them out.read more

Last Monday, I went with this shop for my hair. It was already long and needs a professional barber. While waiting, I like the fact that their shop was stylish, nice, and very clean. Great job! This barbershop had both quality and experience I had received for a haircut. Jonah is one of a kind barber and very easygoing. He was into details and took extra care for the cut that I wanted. All the barbers here are passionate and dedicated to their job. I brought my partner here for a beard trim because I heard so many great reviews about this Barbershop. I didn't know what to expect because I'm very careful when it comes to his beard but your staff was very professional. He did an amazing job of trimming my hair and I really like the result. I used to go to a “high end” barbershop in midtown where the cuts are $80+ per visit without tip. Covid happened and Premium Barbershop was available on day one of reopening but my usual spot was not. I gave them a try and I was blown away by the level of precaution from temperature checks to plexiglass separators. You just have to over-communicate upfront exactly what you want, and they have the talent to deliver at 1/3 of the price. I have been using Joseph (the owner) for a couple of years now and he is the best barber I've ever had. He's also very nice and can do any hairstyle. The shop is ultra clean and chair is disinfected after every cut. Highly recommended!!read more

Since my barber shop permanently closed due to covid19, i searched the neighborhood and so glad I found Premium Barber Shop. The shop is ultra clean and bright and even the cape, was disposable, which I like as they believe in customer's safety during this tragic time. Premium Barber Shop is one of the best barber shops I've been to and Roman consistently gives the best cut I've had. I started going to Premium after they reopened from COVID restrictions. The shop is clean, efficient, and very professional. On my first visit, I showed Roman a picture of a previous cut I had and he cut it better than before! This business is also not overpriced like many high rated barber shops in Manhattan and Brooklyn. I highly recommend it.read more

I've been a patron of Premium multiple times since moving to Midtown East and the quality is always top-notch with very reasonable prices. The shop is always very clean and professional with appropriate COVID precautions in place, I've walked in every time and have never had to wait for more than a couple minutes. Went here for a quick cut before an important meeting. Angie did an EXCELLENT job and paid such great attention to detail. The fade came out amazing, her edge up skills were impeccable, and I came out looking and feeling like a million bucks. The hot towel and razor on the back of the neck after my cut was a great touch, and the price was definitely reasonable for the quality of service I received. The shop does offer a punch card promo, the 10th cut is free after you visit 9 times. Also big on the fact that the shop is open late--always a plus! I'll definitely be returning, that's for sure!read more

I worked with Angel to shape and style my beard. Unlike a lot of stylists that I have encountered, she took her time and worked meticulously from side to side to ensure the best shape I could get for my face. She was open and honest about recommending different ideas that may look nice on me. I love my new style. I plan on frequenting the Salon for my styling needs and would recommend it to all. The best barber shop in NYC. Ilya has been cutting my hair for a long time. His jokes are terrible but at least he is a high level barber. Everyone who works there is always friendly and professional. They give out free water or beer while you wait. I am moving to Queens in a couple weeks but will keep coming back here. Best barbershop in town, hands down.I have been to this barbershop for over two years now and every person, previous or current, that has cut my hair have been spectacular.The staff is always friendly, with a smile on their face, mask on or not. They are always particular in dealing with their customers. They listen first and provide inputs on your haircut if they feel they have misunderstood. They always confirm before they cut, which is very honorable.The shop itself is small and wait times are generally around 10 minutes but, it is worth the wait. I mean walk-ins with an average of 10 minute wait is nothing. You walking out of there as a new person is what matters.When it comes to the cut, they treat you right, take their time, are aware of their other customers, and never rush your cut. They make sure you look clean when you walk out.Price is very affordable. Usually my haircut and beard trim runs for $40 that is similar, sometimes more, to what I pay outside of the city.Overall, I absolutely recommend this barbershop. Keep up the great work all! My experience here was welcoming and professional at all times. I’ve dealt with John and Ely for my both of my sons (4 yrs old & 6 yrs old). Ely gave my youngest a shape up to my youngest which was quick and on point. John gave a medium fade and scissors on top to my oldest. The results were satisfying and both of my sons came out happy.
