Mick's Barber Shop offers classic barbering in a classic barbershop setting. You'll get transported back to a time when the world moved a little slower. Walk in, sit down and relax as Glenn Miller, Frank Sinatra and Frankie Valli provide the sound track. From hot towel shaves, flat tops and high & tights to free Wi-Fi, Mick's does it all with a nod to the past and an eye on the future. Appointments are strongly recommended, but walk-ins welcome.

Always a good haircut. I'm from NJ and lived in Denver the past few years and would have to pay almost double for the same service. Glad I can pass in the savings to the younger two girls that work there.read more

I always take my 3 year old son here and each time they are extremely attentive to him and more importantly he leaves with a fresh hair cut which is always done very well. He looks forward to his lollipops.read more

Excellent place for a fellow to have a cut or perhaps a hot shave. Ladies cuts are welcome here too. A very relaxed environment with some classic oldies playing from the 40s, 50s, and 60s. Mick and crew never disappoint. The only spot for me.read more

?Mick's Barber shop is a wonderful little store located in Honesdale. If you do go and visit the Barbers, they are very personabld people and will make your time pleasant and enjoyable. They are a walk in service so it can be hit or miss on how long you will wait, but if you like good people and a good haircut the wait is nothing. The interior is a classic look, and since its located on mainstreet it does give you a old time feel. If you are in the market for hair products they also sell that stuff there, so you can pick up anything you might need. This is one of my favorite places to get a haircut, and I find myself going back for my next haircut soon.read more

Attention to detail. Family owned. There are not many places that still razor shave you. Great experience to have a nice smooth neck line as well. Go in and say hi to Mick.

Perhaps it was the person who cut my hair, vs the atmosphere. Its a nice place. Cozy. Unfortunately she did not know how to cut my hair. I ended up with a modified mullet.😩

Have a special needs son and they treat him really well here. No appointment walk-ins only. It's a cash-only venue but they do give hand-written receipts.

I am new to town just having moved into PA a few months ago right before COVID-19 hit the state’s. I have not been to a barber here in PA but neeed a haircut and was not going back to my old home for a few more weeks. Decided to try out Mick’s Barber Shop out and made appointment online and had the pleasure to be set up with Mick herself. I have to say there is nothing but great things to say about the shop! Met outside by a lovely young lady who was pleasant, friendly and professional. Welcomed me to Mick’s and thanked me for giving them a try. Took my temp and asked a few questions about if feeling sick, having any exposure to COVID, no to all. Waited a few minutes after my appointment time but taken in and asked what hairstyle did I want. I showed an ID picture to give better idea. Mick said no problem we can take care of it for you. Great conversation, great haircut and very friendly people. VERY SMALL TOWN FEEL and makes you feel welcomed!!! I have found my new favorite Barbershop and Barber, Hairstylist. Total 5 stars for a very pleasant, friendly and professional crew! If in need of haircut even if traveling thru, PLEASE DO YOURSELF the favor. Stop off and see them!. Clean, Quick and great cut. I can highly recommend this shop!!!read more

I usually don't go to Mick's but I was in a pinch this time and I may not go back to my regular barber. The process was easy I picked my time online and I was happily greated at the door at the exactly 1200. Mick was very thoughtful and careful when it came to covid precautions. She cut my hair and it looked pretty great! I don't know why I haven't been to her before!read more

The best haircuts I’ve ever had I got here. A local treasure all the staff are skilled and pleasant conversation. As for pricing, they are nigh impossible to beat for the quality of service and I would recommend this place over all others in a fifty mile radius. You can book appointments online making the process simple and efficient. If all barber shops were like this the world would indeed be a far better place!read more

I love going to Mick's whenever I visit NEPA. Her shop manages to have the classic generational barbershop feel while maintaining modern conveniences like online reservations. I took my son for his first haircut and she was extremely patient and kind with him. You can tell that decades of experience go a long way in providing the best possible service.read more

MRS Young I must say what a piece of work you are that 1 star was horrible and why I say that is because my son and I where there and not only was your son screaming for 15 min straight and clearly not allowing them to cut his hair he then vomited all over the place stunk out the whole store and you where mad at them. I would have thrown you out the minute he was in his rage. Shame on you for leaving that review there is no one more caring then Mick when it comes to children. Leaving this review because the first review that comes up talks about Micks being horrible with kids. That is the biggest joke I have ever heard. My son Logan has been going to Mick since he was 2, he will be 10 soon. Great place for a kids cut, Mick and anyone who’s ever worked there has been amazing with kids.
