I have been going to jimmys for over a year now and I always leave pleased with the cut I get. I have been in there when the shop has been packed and watched Hina bang out perfect cut after perfect cut and has kept it moving to cut down on the wait time. She has been cutting my hair consistently for a while and I have never once had a single complaint. She’s quick, efficient, and extremely meticulous. She understands not everyone wants to sit for hours waiting to get a haircut. Girl knows what she’s doing!!read more

I have been shopping around for a good barbershop in Allentown and after stopping here i will be returning next time.i couldn't give a 5th star because i did not like how the crown of my head was finished but i will be trying a different barber at the same shop next time.EDIT: I had triston cut my hair this time, what a nice guy. He knew exactly what i wanted and he kept a great conversation while cutting my hair. I will certainly will be returning now and will be looking for him.read more

Nice staff however my first time there I had to go to a different barber to fix my hair, the owner is the one who cut my hair and I highly advise against choosing her to cut your hair

I’ve been to Jimmy’s quite a few times and have never left disappointed. I recently went there and my barber Julian was very friendly and efficient. This is also the cleanest barber I’ve ever had the pleasure of going to, not a speck of hair on the ground and everybody wore their masks. Even when I was getting my sideburns done my mask was kept on my face. I wouldn’t get my hair cut anywhere else in the area.read more

Short review: Amazing experience!!!Long review: I wanted to leave a detailed review about my experience at Jimmy’s Barber Shop. My job has me on the road quite a bit in the Lehigh Valley and beyond. It’s not always easy to find time for a haircut with an ever changing schedule, but today I had some time in between meetings and I went on Jimmy’s website and easily scheduled an appointment. I pulled into the parking lot about 15 minutes early. Parking was easy. Before I got out of my vehicle to go in, it hit me! “Is this place cash only?” I didn’t even think about that when I booked my appointment. They are, indeed a cash only business. Understandable, but I only had a $10 bill on me and my ATM card was at home. I realized that I needed to go in and let them know that I would have to reschedule.Jimmy was finishing up a haircut on another client and he said hello and asked me if I had an appointment. I told him I scheduled online, but didn’t realize that they were not set up to accept credit cards. He said, “Don’t worry about it. I will take care of you in a few minutes.”I was able to get a great haircut that I needed and he said I could pay him when I come back. WOW! He didn’t even know me, but he was fine with just letting me pay him later. I said thank you, tipped him the $10 cash I had on me and told him I would be back tomorrow to pay for the haircut.I officially found my new go to barber shop!read more

I have been going to Jimmy's Barber shop for about 7 months now after my long time barber retired. I thought I always had a good haircut before but since Zach has been cutting my hair at Jimmy’s it looks so much better and I get many compliments. My wife especially thinks it looks much better. Zach does a really great job! Although I haven’t personally used Jimmy, he is always pleasant and welcoming and I have heard good things about him too.I like the ease of finding and booking appointments on their website and the place is clean and bright and their prices are very reasonable. Great ownership, years of excellent service until Q3 of 2021, an excellent barber left and the replacements have yet to truly secure and uphold the reputation consistently. Zach is only one barber. He alone simply will not uphold the 5 star reputation forever. I was looking for an old school type barber shop; someone suggested Jimmy's to me.I just wanted a buzz cut: Take it down to the firewall!I entered the waiting area and was asked if I had an appointment; I didn't know I needed one. But the older barber asked what I wanted; told him a #1 or #0 with the razor; just an easy task. No initials, or names, or ski slope designs.
