Great barber shop with a friendly and professional staff. Always very little wait time when you have an appointment and they make it very easy to schedule appointments if you have a barber of your choice. I've been going to Nick for almost a year now and recently started bringing my 2 and a half year old son as well. Seems to to know exactly what you want even if you're the type of person who has a hard time describing what kind of haircut you want!read more

Came in today for my son to get a 1940s inspired haircut because he was casted in ‘Its a wonderful life’. Jess took care of us and did a phenomenal job! My son doesn’t usually sit still when it comes to the electric buzzer, but their razors are so quiet he didn’t even mind. She patiently sat with him and had a pleasant conversation with him and took her time. We are definitely coming back! ? I also observed that all of the other barbers did amazing work on the other clients too and everyone left with a smile on their face! Jess will definitely be our go-to gal from now on! Been going to JF for years and years. Don't go as often as I should because it's a 30 minute hike, but whenever I'm closer I try to stop in. They were the best 10 years ago, and still the best. The only problem I've ever had with a cut is when I don't make an appointment and I give one of the newer barbers a shot. SO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! Special shout to RANDY; he was my man in Dover, and now he's in Rockaway. I needed a cut bad last week and did not make an appointment. Had to wait a few, but he squeezed me in and gave me a cut in 20 minutes that was better than others I've had that took an hour. If you stop by Rockaway, check out Randy for a great cut. In Dover I've had work from Galo and Ruben, both are great.read more

I was a walk-in. They had a barber, Isaac, immediately available. They take appointments. Isaac was not a conversationalist, but was attentive to cutting my hair which is most important to me. He didn’t attend to eyebrows or ear hair, but did straight edge my neck and sideburns. All-and-all an excellent cut worth a $6 tip. Cost of the haircut was more than what I find at other barbershops, but Isaac’s skills were above average as well.UPDATE: Although I liked my cut, my wife weighed in saying she didn’t like the “fade” technique Isaac used.read more

The staff are extremely professional and courteous. Very fairly priced. Excellent service from men, women, and children’s cuts. They also specialize in beards and hair braiding. I would recommend Jersey’s Finest (both locations) to anyone.read more

Couldn't get in with my regular guy so I booked here. Haircut was great, but they advertised and charged me for hot towel shave when the barber only used an electric razor. Nice cut, easy booking, but overpriced and not clear with the menu.read more

Jersey finest is an incredible place to get men style hair cuts such as fades and other cuts, personally I have been going to George for a little over 2 years and he is so consistent with my haircut. He’s so friendly and welcoming which also keeps me coming back, definitely worth the money for the attention to detail he spends with his customers. I highly recommend him 10/10 and very happy I’ve found such a consistent guy to get me looking right. I’ll always be coming back every month or two, definitely book an appointment with George to get your self looking fresh as can be !! Thank me later!!read more

Nice people, cool atmosphere. But Laura jacked up my hair to the highest degree. She didn’t know what to do on top and my mid skin fade went to high and round. I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed. Luckily it was fixable.read more

Clean, professional and quick service. With a easy user friendly website featuring booking online it doesn’t get much easier than that. I do have to say the only reason i gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because I’ve been coming to Jersey’s Finest since i was in middle school (at their Dover location first now to the Rockaway one)but they have raised their prices three times now and all three times it was without warning they just told me after i got my haircut and was at the counter paying, next time a sign of some sort or heads up would be appreciated.read more
