Hair Mechanix in Monroe, MI is a fun, MALE-friendly place where men get what they deserve. Built by guys for guys and powered by better girls. The attentive and talented staff offer all current and vintage hairstyles. The barber shop is lined with big screen TV's and photos covering the walls, along with rock music on the speakers. Also, you can sit back and relax with a complimentary beer. Each haircut includes a wash and hot towel neck shave. Hair color and waxing services are available as well. It's certainly a man focused experience. Locations in Michigan, Florida, and Pennsylvania.

1st time and Raven was my stylists. She was very detailed and took her time to make sure I was happy with my haircut. You definitely are made to feel welcome here and not just another haircut to rush through. They do accept walk ins but highly recommend booking ahead since they do take their time with every customer. Will be returningread more

Good place, my haircut this last time was really good. But I've had not so good ones. Depends who you get and be exact on what you want. Talk to them they can't read your mind. A little pricey.

Best place in town to get a haircut. With all of the different options, it makes it more like a spa experience. The stylists are always friendly, and seem to know exactly what you are looking for in a haircut. Such a relaxed environment. I would not go anywhere else.read more

Love coming here!! I bring my son here and have been since he was a year old. Barbie has been doing his hair for 3 years now and followed her here from Westland. We make the almost hour drive here because she’s the only one that my son will let touch his hair. She’s is always so patient with him and lets him take his time and follows his lead. I've been a customer at the Monroe, Michigan location for nearly 4 years. My stylist is Kayla and she is very talented young lady. Kayla uses her experience and creativeness to provide excellent results. Never an issue booking appointments. She runs a very clean and organized station. Never any drama. Ruby did a nice job. Friendly, efficient.Handled the walk-in without making me feel like a burden.Down side is the price. This is a salon, not a barber. It's a great place for fancy services but you'll pay more for a basic clipper cut. Obviously.It's not overpriced for what it is. It's not your best opinion if you only want one step better than doing it yourself. Put another way - this is a place for people with more hair and fashion sense than I have.I don't plan on making an appointment, but I would go as a walk in again if it fits into my schedule.read more
