Description
GQ Barber Shop Carlisle is the third installment of the well-known GQ barbershop that’s been serving the Harrisburg area for over 20 years. The multicultural barbershop is open 7 days a week serving all men and women with great customer service and experience. The waiting area includes a PlayStation and Xbox for children, comfortable seating, a pool table and refreshments. They guarantee no wait time longer than 15 minutes.

My son loves coming here and feels so comfortable with whoever he gets when we come. He’s on the spectrum and haircuts have always been a rough thing for him but not here. I took my 5 and 14 year old there for the first time around 1 on a Saturday with no wait. Even if I had to wait it's worth it. The man who styled my older son looked at a picture on my phone and did it perfect. Even customized it to how my son wanted it. My 5 year old was scared at first but the man who cut his hair didn't only do a great job he made it fun and my son was ready to go back in as soon as we left. Me, I like the price, atmosphere and the barbers. REAL people. That's big in my book.read more

I was in need of a haircut and found GQ by searching google. Walked in and was impressed by the cleanliness and the way the shop was setup. I got a cut from Mike, and I must say I have never had a more thorough or detailed haircut in my life. I was very impressed and will be back regularly for my haircuts. Nice barber shop that takes walk-ins or you can make an appointment. Appointments are suggested for the weekends or you could be sitting for a while! All of the barbers I have seen @ GQ in Carlisle are very thorough and take their time to give you what you are looking for. They do anything from regular cuts to custom designs. Sunday is military day which means if you are active military or a veteran with veteran ID you pay $15 instead of $20. Good group of barbers in Carlisle.read more

This was my first trip to GQ Barber shop...and it will not be my last! I walked in and the place seemed packed, which to me is a ver good sign. My wife took both our son’s there a few weeks ago and they both looked great, which is why i wanted to try them out. I was seated within 10 minutes and my barber was Mike. Mike was very attentive and his attention to detail was amazing. I was more than pleased and you now have another regular customer! This is a mans hair cutting place...no doubt about it!read more

Just moved to Carlisle and this is the first barbershop I tried. I won’t be trying anywhere else! Friendly, professional service. Great conversations and delivered a haircut experience beyond my expectations! The haircut and beard trim were exactly what I asked for, but with razor precision (pun intended). Use to enjoy this place but ever since ownership changed I have switched to a barber over half the price. When I first went to gq about 7 years ago it was $15 a cut and well worth it given the environment but the price has doubled and it’s lost that barbershop atmosphere and the owner now was actually an associate under the last owner and he is an Amazing barber but I think he rushes now to keep up being the last set of associates I seen were 100 pounds overweight and lazy.read more

Dean, Akash, and the other babers are truly a kind, talented, and amazing team. I took my son to GQ Barbershop for a rescue haircut after his hair was severely butchered by another shop in Carlisle.
